@katievscancer@ThanksCancer Thank you! I just missed out on a spot recently, there were only 4 places. I was SO disappointed as trials for the late stage of my types of cancer are rare. My onc says they may take on other patients in the next phase but I may not have time on my side. Wishing you luck xx
@katievscancer Sorry to hear about your scan, this is such a shit rollercoaster ride. Coincidentally, my scan showed progression last week, started 4th line of chemo yesterday, 1st time with irinitecan. Just missed a slot on a trial, v disappointed as they don't often come up.Good luck x
@MeadowLocke@ThanksCancer Thank you so much! How very thoughtful of you and I was sad to read about your friend. My colleagues, past and present, are a wonderful support....precious friendships indeed! Take care and thanks again, what a lovely message x
Today is the one year anniversary of my cancer diagnosis: stage 4 neuroendocrine plus small cell carcinoma, with mets to the liver- it's also my son's birthday. It's been a heck of a year and the chemo, although horrible, means that I'm here to celebrate my son's birthday. 1/2
@amberress@ThanksCancer So happy for you with the sedation, it would have taken away a lot of my anxiety before and during the procedure :) plus I love a good sedation...
@snufflewort two hours, three hours max for physical energy...mental energy unlimited, which is very frustrating as I want to do so much! No more than one 'event' on any given day.
@ufouapam Happy New Year Andy to you and yours...your podcast got me through the year- thank you so much for what you do. Wishing you a fabulous 2025 xxx
Something I get to witness again and again in my oncology practice is couples authentically living out their vows of โin sickness and in healthโ
When you say those words at the altar itโs hard to know exactly what theyโll mean but steadfast love is truly a beautiful thing to see
