@ICT_MrP I feel the title needs to be changed to for purpose - reading has a purpose and makes all books accessible. Soo many of my children like nonfiction books etc but donβt feel they can read them as they are told we must read to improve our writing!
@keith_campion@jonnybid I agree - there needs to a balance with your class in mind rather then a one size fits all scheme that staff do not always have the time to adapt
@PrimaryCoHead Thatβs fair enough, our options were limited by a very small school in our village but we didnβt want him in a class of only 3 children who donβt live in the village
@bphillipsonMP Nothing to do with you and everything to do with the hardworking teachers & support staff who will have prepared those children to the best of their ability, supporting those children to believe they can, getting them to believe in themselves and work at home
Full day in the classroom, cupboards decluttered, old books listed for sale, displayed ready for September!
So nice to start the holidays with that off my plate
@RobertJenrick Instead of worrying about London, how about considering the support to develop your own constituency - Newark is dying without investment and support
@tes@TeacherTapp I lead on English in our two-form primary. I do not receive a TLR for this, I receive one for leading KS2. If we need time for subject leadership then we have to request time and I facilitate it but no TLRs are for subjects. Schools simply cannot afford it for each subject
