I'm not lying. That line alone is a public service announcement.

The real ones though:

- Love is not enough. Shared values matter more.
- The goal isn’t to stay the same forever... it’s can we keep meeting each new version of each other with curiosity instead of resentment?
- Love mostly lives in boring Tuesday behavior.
- Your partner cannot be your entire universe. That is too much pressure for one nervous system.

I’ve been married long enough to know she’s not exaggerating a single thing. The forehead kiss and the “I picked this up because I thought you’d like it” hits harder than any anniversary post ever could.

Successful marriages really are just two people who decided to grow up instead of just grow older.
