지금 제주도 가면 여기가 한국인지 중국인지 헷갈릴 정도임

제주도 중심가 직접 가보면 간판이 온통 중국어뿐임 밥집부터 환전소까지 한글은 거의 안 보임 가게 사장님들도 한국 손님은 아예 없다고 한탄함

외국인 비자 없이 들어오는 제도로 중국인만 70만 넘게 몰려옴 들어오는 외국인 열 명 중 아홉 명 이상이 중국 사람임

반대로 한국 사람들은 바가지요금이랑 질린 분위기 때문에 제주도를 완전히 외면하는 중임 한 달에만 8만 명 넘게 발길을 끊음

한국인이 안 가니까 호텔이랑 면세점 매출은 30프로 넘게 폭락함 골목 가게들도 줄줄이 문 닫아서 여섯 집 중 한 집은 빈 가게임

제일 심각한 건 몰래 도망쳐서 안 나가는 불법 체류자만 1만 명인데 대부분이 중국인이라는 사실임

이게 진짜 심각한 이유가 있음

단순히 중국인 많아진 게 문제가 아니라 관광 돈 순환 구조가 완전히 깨진 거임 중국 단체 관광객은 중국인이 운영하는 여행사랑 식당만 돌고 빠짐

정작 돈 쓰는 내국인은 다 쫓아내고 남의 나라 상권에 껍데기만 빌려준 꼴임

국내 관광 살린다고 무비자 막 퍼주다가 한국인은 정떨어져서 일본이나 동남아로 가고 제주도는 통째로 중국 자본에 먹히고 있음

형이랑 같이 고깃집 하다가 장사 너무 안 돼서 고용 지원금이라도 받으려고 장애인 직원을 설거지 담당으로 둠

처음엔 손이 너무 느리고 불판이랑 집게를 쓸데없이 미련할 정도로 박박 닦길래 속 터져서 자를까 고민했음
