"We're such an instant gratification era ... We're trying to skip the step of adversity and growth ... but we're gonna have to face it.
Sometimes the grass isn't greener on the other side. Sometimes you're just trading one set of problems for another."

“Be someone that somebody wants to emulate. You cannot be a good leader if you do not care about other people because you have to be willing to listen. Feel, felt, found. I know how you feel, I felt that way before, here’s what I found out. You can’t be a good leader if you’re not willing to serve other people,” Nick Saban
I had the opportunity to shadow Ms. Anderson in her AP duties at @FCVWildcats today! Enjoyed seeing how similar yet unique our partner middle school is. Thanks for the opportunity!
Teachers, you showed up for kids today. You did your best.
You helped a child smile.
You made someone laugh.
You were the reason a child wanted to come to school.
You matter ❤️
"Practicing hard is a choice. Watching extra film is a choice. Lifting weights, being coachable, and going to class are a choice. Your choices here are going to force me to either play you, or sit you on the bench. You’ll get exactly what you want." (Pat Summitt)
Little relay race today in Bio! Each person had a job to help their group accomplish protein synthesis. Roles rotated every round. Fun way to review & get students moving! The Blue team won!
Time to learn from @ImagineLearning and engage in intentional planning to better support our students - I’m thankful @ltgoodnews invests in our development so we can better invest in the future leaders in our rooms.
Science teachers at @BelzerBears are working today with a coach from TWIG Science @ImagineLearning to refine how we utilize formative assessment and track student progress throughout a unit. @ltschools
Tested out a “new to us” version of a photosynthesis lab. The productive struggle to set up this apparatus was great! Students then had to decide on a variable they thought would affect the rate of photosynthesis, create a hypothesis & plan an investigation
