Why do people play tribal cards when some people are involved in corruption scandals?

For instance, when Uhuru Kenyatta looted public funds, people said Kikuyus were thieves!
Today, the Controller of Budget was arrested for allegedly defrauding someone of KES 29,000,000, and people are saying the government is fighting Kisiis!

Why must we drag a whole community when particular individuals loot public resources?
Do these people loot and share with their communities?

On one side, we're accusing the president of his inability to fight corruption; on the other, we're lamenting when people are arrested in relation to corruption!

Can we get out of our tribal cocoon and deal with individuals.
