Kaitlyn Tracey is a 33 year-old Canadian woman who saw a 16 year-old child wearing sweatpants with the word “TRUMP” on them, and punched the girl in the face, unprovoked.

Tracey was arrested for assault. The local police discovered she had overstayed a visa and was here illegally and referred her to federal immigration authorities for deportation proceedings. This is the way it ought to work.

However, if Tracey had committed the same crime in Zohran Mamdani’s NYC, Brandon Johnson’s Chicago, Karen Bass’s Los Angeles or one of numerous other Democrat-run sanctuary jurisdictions, the police who arrested her would have been prohibited from checking her immigration status or from cooperating with immigration authorities.

Instead of being referred to immigration detention, this migrant criminal would have been released on her own recognizance to attack more children.

I think most Americans would agree that when a foreigner punches an American in the face for no reason in the street, our authorities — local and federal — should do something about it. Right now, Democrats don’t believe that, and in places they control, the law is not enforced and violent crimes committed by citizens and migrants alike routinely go unpunished. Republicans have to do a better job of telling these kinds of stories to voters and getting this kind of information in front of them.

Neither of them are right. The reason no one can afford to buy a house is because home prices are kept artificially high by mass immigration.

It's painfully simple. If you artificially increase demand at a rate higher than supply can match you get price increases.

Shut down every slush fund NGO that’s ever gotten a dollar of public money. Cancel state and federal funding for anything related to social justice or green energy. Tax remittances. Fire the DEI apparatchiks and the community organizers. Stop mail-in voting for anyone who doesn’t qualify for Medicare or a handicap license plate. Give Palantir a blank check and Erik Prince a blanket letter of indemnity, I don’t care.

Just shut it all down until we have a high-trust society again. Cut everything off until we have high-performing institutions, a (somewhat) balanced budget, a military that can win wars, and confidence that our so-called public servants are spending our hard-earned dollars on the actual public interest, not on causes we didn’t vote for, values we don’t support, and criminals who would undermine everything good about what’s supposed to be the greatest nation ever built.
