"...someone who looks like me needs to start writing the big checks...Men are writing those big checks to one another, and in order for us to change that, more people who look like me need to be in that position, giving money back to themselves." https://t.co/rck2cSLCN8
Nice to take a beat and join this founder lunch club by โโ@fin_ai, @Stripe, and @LondonPartners.
No speakers, agenda or programming - just great conversation (and great food!) with founders building in NYC.
After 6 weeks of building, Vercel AI Accelerator teams are ready to show their ships.
Join us in SF on April 16 for Demo Day, where founders will pitch to @Vercel, @AWSstartups, @AnthropicAI, @OpenAI, and more.

We're aware of recent reporting about Delveโs compliance practices. Lovable is not a Delve customer. We proactively moved to Vanta in late 2025, before any of this came to light.
Our SOC 2 Type II was independently audited by Prescient Assurance. Weโre currently undergoing an independent internal audit of our ISMS, recertifying ISO 27001, and have our next SOC 2 Type II scheduled for Q3 2026.
Security is not an afterthought at Lovable. It's a company-wide commitment backed by a dedicated team and continuous investment. Our current compliance practices are all here: https://t.co/s4PVhd5wnI
Stripe CEO Patrick Collison: "Software should be like pizzaโฆ cooked right then and there at the moment of use."
"You donโt want mass-produced industrial scale software. You want bespoke custom software made for you, that moment."
"Up until now, the economics of software have been conceived as fixed cost and then infinitely monetized."
"Once there are inference costs and custom creation involved, it really shifts. Itโs kind of the non-Walrasian software regime."

I am appalled and outraged ๐กDonutique is closed for a private event from 1-3pm today - ie. During peak donut consumption hours. @VenetianVegas@PalazzoVegas@money2020 what has the world come toโฆ
First world problems: major pet peeve of mine. I love a good hospital cornered made bed. HATE when the fold is too low on the bed - in some cases half way down the bed. Or fold isnโt wide enough to use the blanket without have to untuck everything. The art of bed making is dead.
I have been waiting 3 hours for my biopsy at @UCSFCancer@UCSFHospitals@UCSF
Where are my MBAs, consultants and tech founders at - surely someone can do something to make these systems more efficient?
Deel has raised $300M at a $17.3B valuation
We started about 6 years ago, struggling to even make $10K.
I've never shared this before because of how embarrassing our start was.
The story of how we went from $1K to $1B and the advice I'd give to my younger self:
So true. You have to earn the right. Today I have to strive to stay relevant to young founders and keep re-learning. Advising founders does not come from firm name or title. We do try and monitor closely what younger investment team members do and encourage them not to give advice
