@Im_IrushiK I just tried to replicate. Sonnet 4.6 came indeed up with four. When I switched to Opus 4.8 it got it right.
That's an even bigger issue. A bug that can be consistently replicated can be fixed much easier.
And to think people rely on these models for financial or health use.
@_tradebender@CryptoFamRadio@unusual_whales I literally had Claude make up levels on a price chart that weren't there. When I called it out on the BS it actually admitted to making it up. The same with data in an Excel file.
@_tradebender@CryptoFamRadio@unusual_whales Machine Learning (ML) has been doing the reverse for years. That is AI. LLMs are a different form of AI and I don't see how they could be used for active trading at this point.
@_tradebender@CryptoFamRadio@unusual_whales FWIW ... current LLMs in general are just crap. Not trustworthy as they make up shit all the time which is obviously wrong, but they do it anyway.
@_tradebender@CryptoFamRadio@unusual_whales 1) calling me a kid is kinda funny, I've been online since the 80s.
2) It's not about what I believe. It's about that neither I nor you can predict the future. Who knows what will be possible in five years? AI is nothing new. Everybody talking about a specific form of AI is.
@_tradebender@CryptoFamRadio@unusual_whales I would be careful with the word 'never' as I personally have no clue what the world will look like in 5, 10, 50, 100 years.
Never is a pretty darn long time.
Dear @microsoft, please stop fucking up products that once were good. @Outlook is becoming more of a shitshow than an actual useful product. Congrats. Did the PMs come up with this crap through Moneyball exercises? I doubt it.
@_tradebender@CryptoFamRadio@unusual_whales Big firms are using ML for trading, which is one form of AI. LLMs are useless for actual trading. Actually, given how much shit they make up, they're just useless.
@unusual_whales And then watch it make stuff up that's not in the data and only acknowledge it after you call it out for this BS.
No thanks!
Been there, done that, didn't even get a fucking t-shirt.
@HalcyonOdyssey @ihtesham2005 Maybe because humans built those systems to serve them, thus using human morality, ethics, and standards of danger as guidelines. Just a thought.
@iam_elias1 Forget complex. This is the response I just got from Claude after analyzing a CSV file: "I fabricated a row that wasn't in your file and then doubled down on it."
"I fabricated a row that wasn't in your file and then doubled down on it."
Dear @claudeai, go fuck yourself. Humanity is fucked if we rely on your shit.
Please rm -rf yourself from the universe.
