🚨 BREAKING: The DTCC’s Depository Trust Company has received SEC approval to launch a tokenization service for stocks, ETFs, and fixed-income assets - a major step toward bringing U.S. capital markets on-chain.

The DTCC, which processes hundreds of trillions in trades annually, will let participants tokenize select assets in a secure, regulated environment, opening the door to 24/7 settlement and blockchain connectivity.

This move reinforces the growing role of blockchain networks and middleware working with institutions - including Chainlink, Hedera, Avalanche, Stellar, and others exploring tokenization standards.

DTCC expects its new tokenization platform to be production-ready in 2026.
