Every time I wanted to open an app or call someone, I had to go back to the home screen and navigate multiple screens and menus. So I created Flowbar, a search bar that opens on top of whatever app you're in. Think of it as Spotlight or Raycast for Android.

@fjzeit @trq212 re: "technical people are "sad" because they are being asked to care less"
you don't have to care less, why should you care less? Not reading every single line of code that's shipped doesn't mean you care less.

[Benjamin George @msdcconnect]

@trq212 no technical person I know is sad, what do you mean?

[Benjamin George @msdcconnect]

I just remembered I have a Muse subscription which I don't even use.

You open it by tapping a small handle on the edge of your screen or using your assistant gesture. It's super fast and convenient. Some features include:

- Find and open installed apps.

- Search your contacts, view their details, and start a call or text in a single tap.

- Save quick links to your favourite websites, then open them by typing their name.

- Find upcoming calendar events, then open the details or join online meetings in one tap.

- Do quick math right in Flowbar and copy the answer.

- Search the web and view the results in your browser.

- Optimised for speed. Get results instantly as you type.

- 20+ themes, Material You support and characters for your search bar and edge handle (comes with Plus)

@raycast You can open apps without scrolling. You can search your contacts - call or text them, join meetings, search the web and so much more!🔥

I was tired of waiting for @raycast to make an android app, so I created flowbar. It's like spotlight or Raycast for Android. It's a universal search bar that you can open from any screen. Check it out.
