@BreRVA@BossRVA@KarrieKDelaney@CreighDeeds@A11yAwareness Would love, especially if you find there are common things that elected officials don’t engage in that we can be aware of. And absolutely — it really doesn’t take much effort, and we should want to take advantage of these tools that help get our messages out!
@BreRVA@BossRVA@KarrieKDelaney@CreighDeeds I am! Genuinely did not occur to me to cut it in half while struggling with the character limit. Owning and filing away for next time!
@CreighDeeds & I are disappointed by the Governor’s veto of the Affordable Medicine Act, but we are not deterred. We remain committed to the idea that cost should never be a barrier to life-saving medication & will continue to work towards policy solutions to help all Virginians.
No one should ever have to choose between their bills and life saving medications, and the bills signed yesterday take us closer to that goal. What a privilege it is to do work like this every day.
I was talking with some folks recently about how I could possibly stay sane and human while working in the field that I do. Days like yesterday is how.
Incredibly grateful to join everyone here in celebrating the signing of HB 1214 to cap the cost of insulin and diabetes management equipment for Virginians.
Frusturating timing for amendments to the Virginia Affordable Medicine Act when our neighbors in Maryland set a UPL utilizing ... wait for it... Maximum Fair Price! Virginians deserve relief from high prescription drug costs
@FamiliesUSA
I am excited to announce that the Affordable Medicine Act has passed the General Assembly and is headed to the Governor's Desk. This bill will do so much to ensure Virginians do not have to make a choice between buying prescription drugs and having a roof over their head.
NEW from me: 'Shall means shall’ bill praised as ‘most important’ effort of 2026 #valeg@opengovva@KarrieKDelaney@ryanfotoole
(This is maybe my nerdiest story this session...)

The Dallas Cowboys are officially eliminated, which means they have now gone 30 years without making a Conference Championship Game.
Every other NFC team has made a CCG since 2010.
@bluevirginia It’s an insane argument. Single committees decide all the time what is voted on by the whole body, it’s literally the point of committees. Is the fmr. LG suggesting that every bill filed must be taken up by all 140 members and voted on? The Court absolutely made the right call.
