It’s so disheartening that after all the struggles we’ve experienced as DOE teachers, getting therapy is THIS tedious. Sundays are my only “free” days & my therapist doesn’t even show up.

Getting reports of some school administrators sending out emails to students that participated in the walkout that they will get detention. Will not post the email to protect the students but it's definitely happening! Parents advocate for you students right to protest.

The accusations that we may have organized the student walk out are not only baseless, but more importantly absolutely condescending to the youth that bravely walked out today. Our hats off to them! Incredibly shameful of @DOEChancellor and @UFT to fail to protect them.
