My grade 2 kiddos are amazing. They came up with these classroom “rules”. They melted my heart and are absolutely great! ☺️💕 I love the Covid rules they added from their daily procedures as well!
It’s unreal the hours we work as teachers. In these times it feels like we work even crazier hours. Please give us grace. I promise we’re all doing our best 🙌🏼
“...it is a slap in the face when (government) can quickly come up with $3 million to help the Roughriders, but our schools and staff and students are left in unsafe conditions come September...”
“It shows really bad priorities.”

I've said this before and I'll say this again, this is not how I expected my first year of teaching to go. I know we are supposed to be prepared for everything. I know I'm not a parent. I know I am young. I know that I am a teacher. But I am still overwhelmed with everything too.
The journey has begun. We have set off, drawing the map as we go. We don't know where it will take us. We must be bold without rushing recklessly into the unknown. Every day is a PD day. #myPDtoday https://t.co/HJNt7xeKnl @datruss @jonathansclater @tomhudock @pattersonaubrey
Thank you for the shoutout! We are all AMAZING!! This is going to be a great learning opportunity for everyone. One day at a time! #saskedchat#lifelonglearning
Teachers, @SaskTeachersFed has compiled some great online resources according to grade groupings with a focus on numeracy and literacy.

The Government of Saskatchewan is actively considering a number of further preventative measures to protect Saskatchewan people during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will be announcing further details tomorrow. #COVID19SK
My Math 7 kiddos are working on budgeting and “shopping” for real life scenarios. It’s been fun watching them eye up the sales, compare prices of diff stores, and plan their experiences based on the scenario they chose! #connections#lifeinclass
Government’s funding cuts have reduced and eliminated services for students including access to EAs, EAL teachers, mental health supports and speech language pathologists. A strong Saskatchewan includes our children and youth. #TellThemTuesday#SaskEd#skteach
Extremely proud of myself and how far I have come as an educator in the short- sometimes long- 6 months I have been at LCS! I’m still so grateful I am here and enduring all the experiences my kiddos force me to learn through. What a journey! ❤️ #momentofgratitude
Our students DESERVE so much better. They’re the future of this province, this country! Teachers are drowning without the proper resources to fully support the success of EVERY child in our rooms. We care so much, but we can’t possibly keep up. Help us to help them! #education
