The drive featured tree plantation under #EkPedMaaKeNaam3.0 and a quiz on solid waste management, inspiring students towards cleanliness, waste segregation and environmental responsibility. 🌱

Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education encourages students from Classes IX to XII across the country to participate in Rashtriya Kavya Utsav 2026, a National Recitation Competition being organised on Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya (ReP) from 1st June to 31st July 2026.

Students may select a poem from the list available on the ReP platform, record a 60–90 second video of their recitation, upload it on social media using the prescribed official handles and hashtag and submit their entry through https://t.co/8umKVnZf3x.

Let’s celebrate the joy of reading and recitation through this national initiative.

Hon’ble Union Minister for Education, Shri @dpradhanbjp , will launch the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0 campaign on 5th June 2025, on the occasion of World Environment Day, at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gole Market, New Delhi.

The event will be graced by the Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education, Shri Jayant Chaudhary; Hon’ble Minister of State for Education and DoNER, Dr. Sukanta Majumdar; and Hon’ble Education Minister, Government of NCT of Delhi, Shri Ashish Sood and other dignitaries.

On this occasion, Shri Pradhan will also launch the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam modules, the Eco Clubs for the Mission LiFE Web Portal, and a dedicated microsite for Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0.

NCERT समय पर स्कूली किताबें उपलब्ध कराने के लिए प्रयासरतः है। कक्षा 1, 2, 7, 8, 10 और 12 की लगभग 33 लाख पुस्तकें प्रिंट करा कर बुक्शॉप्स में पहुँचा दी गईं हैं। कक्षा 3 और 6 की नए पाठ्यक्रम् की पुस्तकें अप्रैल और मई में क्रमशः छप जाएंगी। कक्षा 4, 5, 9 और 11 की पुस्तकें अप्रैल माह में बाज़ार में आ जाएँगी। सभी छात्रों एवं अभिभावकों से अनुरोध है कि वे धैर्य रखें और परेशान ना हों।
