Hi, this is an experiment we launched in March that was meant to prevent account abuse from unauthorized resellers and protect against distillation.
The team has landed stronger mitigations since then and we’ve actually been meaning to take this down for a while. We merged the PR and this should be fully rolled back in tomorrow’s release.
Sri Lanka’s Cabinet has approved a major railway electrification programme targeting high‑density commuter corridors, marking a shift from diesel to modern electric operations. The initiative, backed by international development partners, will cover the Main Line from Maradana to Ragama with station upgrades at Gampaha, Veyangoda, Mirigama, and Polgahawela, the Kelani Valley Line to Makumbura, and the Coastal Line to Panadura

We built an internal AI system called Builderbot. It coordinates agents across our entire codebase. Engineers tag it in Slack, and it researches, plans, and ships. The story so far:
- 200,000 operations per day.
- 1,500 pull requests merged per week.
- 15% of all production code changes across Block.
What used to take months now takes days.
How we built it: https://t.co/ixvmNK87Du
⚡ Agent Skills now includes Crashlytics and Remote Config, making it easier to set up and use these products with agentic assistance.
Crashlytics skills enable debugging assistance inside IDEs so you can resolve issues faster, without interrupting your coding or requiring you to switch to viewing the Crashlytics dashboard.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

Men, take a break from whatever you're doing and see how many pushups you can do.
How many did you do?
It's a predictor of your heart disease risk.
. 20+ reps is linked to a 75% lower risk
. less than 10, you gotta get off dat ass
Data from 10 yr study of 1,104 men aged 21 to 66.
Pushups outperformed submaximal VO2max at predicting events, likely because pushups capture muscular strength and power on top of fitness, two of the strongest protective biomarkers known.
Limitations: the cohort was middle-aged male firefighters, so do not extend to women, older adults, or sedentary populations. The under 10 group was also older, heavier, and smoked more, so some signal is residual confounding by overall metabolic health.
Great conversation with Jake Wharton at #KotlinConf26! He dove into the evolution of #Kotlin, the power of community-driven development, and the value of building in the open to foster professional growth and create reusable engineering solutions. #Ai

"A few years ago, I had a family emergency. My manager didn't ask for a doctor's note. They didn't check my performance. They just said: 'Take care of your family, we’ve got your back.'"
Retention isn't a "perk." It's a feeling.
If you want to keep your best people in 2026, stop looking at them as "resources" and start looking at them as humans.
Perks like free snacks and fancy offices are great, but psychological safety is what keeps the lights on.
THE APPLE APP STORE IS DROWNING IN AI SLOP
people are treating the App Store like a Medium blog spitting out apps one after another.
All with zero users and $0 revenue.
Apple reviews that used to take hours are now stretching into WEEKS and even months
> more than 550k apps were submitted just last year, highest in a decade.
I urge Sri Lankans to not go and watch the final match against 🇵🇰 in Pallekele.
Don’t even watch from TV.
Let the stadiums be empty. Let Sri Lankan cricket die like this.
Let these Lonthayo celebrate like idiots for every wicket they take on Saturday in a silent ground. 🤡
