This Greek Lemon Chicken with Potatoes is a beloved dish in nearly every Greek household. It's a true representation of comforting, homemade food—easy to prepare, full of flavor, and bursting with Mediterranean aromas.

Many people read Psalm 91… but not many know how to pray with it.
Psalm 91 is not just a chapter to comfort you—it is a weapon to cover you.
The secret is this: don’t just read it… turn it into prayer.
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High…”
No. Make it personal:
“I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
When you pray like this, you are not quoting scripture—you are stepping into it.
“God is my refuge and my fortress…”
Pray it:
“Lord, You are my refuge. I trust You. Hide me. Cover me. Fight for me.”
Take it line by line. Slowly. Intentionally.
Let every verse become your conversation with God.
And when you get to the declarations—don’t be quiet.
“A thousand may fall at my side…”
This is not a whisper. This is authority.
“Even if thousands fall around me, it will not come near me!”
That is how prayer shifts from desperation to dominion.
Psalm 91 is also a weapon in spiritual warfare.
When fear comes…
When attacks rise…
When your night feels heavy…
Declare:
“No evil shall befall me. No plague shall come near my dwelling.”
You are not trying to convince God—you are enforcing what He already said.
And this is important:
Consistency matters.
Pray it in the morning.
Pray it at midnight.
Pray it until your spirit believes what your mouth is saying.
Because the power is not in repetition…
The power is in revelation and faith.
Psalm 91 is a covenant of protection.
When you truly pray it, you stop living like a victim.
You begin to walk in confidence, authority, and divine covering.
Don’t just read it today.
Pray it. Declare it. Become it.
PRAYER (From Psalm 91)
Heavenly Father,
I choose to dwell in Your secret place. I abide under Your shadow.
You are my refuge and my fortress,
My God, in You I trust.
Deliver me from every hidden trap, every plan of the enemy, and every form of sickness.
Cover me with Your presence. Let me find safety under Your wings.
Let Your truth be my shield and protection.
I declare: I will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrows that fly by day.
Even if a thousand fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, it will not come near me.
No evil shall befall me. No plague shall come near my dwelling.
Command Your angels to guard me in all my ways. Let them lift me up and preserve me.
I overcome every work of darkness. I walk in victory.
Because I love You, deliver me, O Lord.
Answer me when I call. Be with me in trouble.
Satisfy me with long life and show me Your salvation.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
🔴🔴COURT OF APPEAL SPEAKS: YOU CANNOT KEEP A CHILD FROM A SURVIVING PARENT IN THE NAME OF DOWRY, CULTURE OR TRADITION
Across Kenya, many fathers and mothers are silently suffering; locked out of their own children after the death of a spouse, told to first pay dowry, perform cultural rites, or satisfy family demands before being allowed to raise their own child. In Faith Githongo & Another v Oscar Githanji Mburu (Court of Appeal, Nyeri, 2026), the Court of Appeal of Kenya has now given new hope to parents facing this painful reality. After the child’s mother died during childbirth, the maternal grandparents took custody and later refused to release the child to her biological father, demanding dowry and fulfilment of customary practices. The father went to court, and the Court of Appeal stood firmly on the side of parental rights and the best interests of the child.
The Court delivered a powerful message: keeping a child away from a surviving parent in the name of culture, dowry, or tradition is unlawful. The judges emphasized that the Constitution and the Children Act place primary responsibility on biological parents, whether married or not. The Court rejected arguments that the grandparents had stayed longer with the child, that the father had remarried, or that cultural requirements had not been met. The Court was clear: a child is not a bargaining chip, not cultural property, and not a tool for enforcing dowry obligations. Unless there is proof that a parent is unfit, the surviving parent has the first and strongest right to raise their child.
This judgment now stands as a beacon of hope for parents locked out of their children by extended family members. It also sends a firm warning to grandparents and relatives: holding onto a child and imposing cultural or dowry demands is not tradition; it is illegality. The Court has made it clear that love for a child must not turn into control, and family support must not become obstruction. For parents going through this struggle, the message is powerful and reassuring: there is a legal path, there is protection under the law, and the courts are ready to restore children to their rightful parents.

Father in Heaven,
You alone are God, holy, righteous, and eternal. Before the mountains were formed and before the foundations of the earth were laid, You were God. From everlasting to everlasting, You reign in power and glory. The heavens declare Your glory and the skies proclaim the work of Your hands. There is no one like You, Lord. You are high and lifted up, and Your throne stands above every kingdom and every power.
We glorify You because You are the Creator of all things. By Your word the universe was spoken into existence. The sun rises because You command it. The oceans stop at the boundaries You set. Every breath we take is a gift from Your hand.
You are holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty. The whole earth is full of Your glory. The angels cry out before Your throne, and all of creation points back to Your greatness. Your wisdom is unsearchable, Your power is unmatched, and Your mercy endures forever.
We praise You for Your faithfulness. You keep every promise You have ever made. Through every generation You remain the same, a refuge for the weary, a fortress for the weak, and a shepherd for Your people. Even when we are unfaithful, You remain faithful, because Your character cannot change.
We glorify You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Through Him You revealed Your love, Your holiness, and Your plan of redemption. At the cross Your justice and mercy met. Through His resurrection You defeated sin and death and opened the door for sinners to become children of God.
Let our lives bring You glory. Let our words honor You. Let our hearts remain humble before You. Teach us to walk in reverence, gratitude, and obedience, remembering that every good and perfect gift comes from You.
Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.
In the name of Jesus,
Amen.

🚨 KENYANS, WE MUST PAY ATTENTION TO THIS
Parliament is proposing changes to the Citizenship & Immigration Act that should concern us all.
After independence, the law allowed migrants who had lived in Kenya to apply for citizenship within a limited window of 7 years post-independence.
Now the proposed amendment removes that deadline entirely and introduces a vague test of “habitual residence since 1963.”
How will anyone verify residence from 60+ years ago?
And who has never 'found' a country 6 decades post-independence?
Yet citizenship automatically means:
• The right to vote
• The right to influence elections
• The right to shape who governs Kenya
Mnaona kwenye wanaenda na hii maneno!!
⚠️ Parliament is considering this amendment right now.
📅 Deadline for public participation: 24th March
YOU MUST SPEAK ON THIS!!
Silence on laws like this today can shape who votes tomorrow.

during the last argument she said straight up "you know what i realized? when we disagree, it never feels safe. with you, every disagreement turns into an argument, then into silence, then into something bigger than it ever had to be. i'd bring things up hoping we'd talk but instead i leave the convo feeling worse. a healthy relationship turns conflict into connection; but with you.. i've just learned to stay quiet, because it's easier than trying to be understood.
If you thought period diarrhoea was the end of the plot, surprise. The replies made it clear this isn’t a single symptom problem. It’s a whole anthology of side effects that people have been quietly enduring because women’s pain has a long history of being waved away. The sheer number of “omg this happens to me” responses tells you everything you need to know about how under-discussed this is. Medical misogyny is real, and it has been ignoring women’s health for decades. That silence is cracking now.
Here’s what women actually reported, in their own bodies, over and over again.
Severe lower back pain that many called the worst part of their period, not cramps. Not discomfort. One person described it as “someone actively using an axe to break my waist,” and an unsettling number of people immediately agreed.
Debilitating migraines or severe headaches, often referred to as “period migraines,” bad enough to stop work, cancel plans, and flatten entire days.
Repeated or uncontrollable nausea and vomiting, sometimes paired with cold sweats or sharp, stabbing pain, and in many cases serious enough to require ER visits or hospitalisation.
Low-grade or noticeable fevers during periods, something many were told was unrelated despite it happening every single cycle.
Cramps that refuse to stay confined to the uterus. Abdominal pain spreading into the legs and thighs, and the infamous “butthole” or rectal cramps that create constant urgency. These are especially common and especially brutal for people with endometriosis.
Bladder symptoms that show up on cue. Frequent or urgent urination, sometimes difficulty holding it, sometimes feeling like a UTI that conveniently disappears once the period ends.
Gut issues playing both sides. While some get diarrhoea, others experience constipation instead, often before their period. Add bloating and excessive gas for the full digestive chaos package.
Recurring yeast infections or itchiness just before periods, perhaps thanks to hormonal shifts that love to destabilise vaginal flora at the worst possible moment.
And then the general flare-up mode. Heavier bleeding, hormonal acne, extreme fatigue, and mood symptoms intensifying, with everything worsening if you already live with conditions like endometriosis, IBS, or hypermobility.
A common thread in the replies wasn’t just pain. It was relief. “I thought I was cursed” “I thought it was just me”. Closely followed by anger at years of being dismissed, minimised, or told this was normal without anyone explaining why or offering help.
These symptoms line up with what we already know about prostaglandins, hormonal shifts, inflammation, and the gut–brain–uterus connection. What they don’t line up with is how little space they get in medical conversations.
Like I said before, it is common. It’s real. And it’s been under-researched for far too long. If your symptoms are severe, worsening, or spilling beyond your period, seeing a doctor matters. And may you find one who listens, believes you, and treats your pain like it’s worth understanding, because it is.
As a parent, I think this video has taught me something useful.
I recommend that you should try it on your kids, too.
I have also shared it with my wife.

Ever bought spices, followed a recipe… and the flavor still wasn’t there?
It’s not the spice. It’s timing + technique.
So here’s a deeper thread on understanding spices, heat, and technique.
