Words matter. They especially matter when talking about likelihoods. As it turns out we have different ideas what type of likelihood we link with certain descriptors. Source: https://t.co/jSR2Sdqduj
The #SeineRiverRun is done! 800kms, in 30 days. I’ve run the entire length of this beautiful river 🇫🇷💧
We can do hard things when we commit. Not long ago, the Seine was declared functionally dead. Today, she’s being restored to health through dedicated clean-up efforts.
It hasn’t been easy, and the job is far from done, but the Seine’s transformation is a beacon of hope and a clarion call to other river cities worldwide:
Restore your rivers to benefit your people and nature. 🌍🌿

@flysaa_care It's not working properly. Only the SA payment gateways in ZAR work. The ting service when paying in $ doesn't as per below. And yes, I have tried many different cards
Your actions, no matter how small, can help tackle the sanitation crisis:
🚽 Stop polluting: don’t put waste down the toilet and drains.
🚽 Flush safe: empty full septic tanks and report dumping of sludge.
Play your part this #WorldToiletDay https://t.co/4PRsCJhr5I
@nicktandi @lungile_mashele ... Promoting rainwater harvesting (RWH) in corporates to manage consumption. The finding was that even if the top 1000 consumers did full scale RWH beneficial to them, at city level the consumption savings were insignificant to warrant any focus whatsoever. Better fix leaks
@nicktandi @lungile_mashele I have confirmed. There is generally a marginal quantity reduction, the hydrograph peak is reduced while the base is lengthned. So you can get as many tanks as you need @lungile_mashele 😀. Reminds of another analysis I did a while back on whether Munics should consider...
@lungile_mashele Cities makes irrational water management decisions, in my view Borehole drilling is one of them. No monitoring, no management and no warnings in certain geological high risk areas. Ticking time bomb
I love "The hierarchy of disagreement". We collectively need to learn how to argue and disagree in a kinder, more efficient way. The whole article is worth reading. If you are pressed for time just read the pyramid and laugh at the lowest stage. Source: https://t.co/pl71B1kvdK
