@TheTennisPanda Agree with the first three. I do feel Shelton will win a major or two. He’s only 23 and the best athlete outside of Alcaraz on the men’s side. If he cleans up his backhand, converts a higher 1st serve percentage- like Zverev does he can get a major
@JoePompliano AO and RG play 4 quarterfinal matches on their main court each day. Yesterday, was an unfortunate perfect storm with all four matches going the distance. I personally like Wimbledon playing the quarters on 2 courts but they also have a 11pm curfew. So not sure on the best option
@josemorgado It’s a disgrace that the current No.1 men’s and women’s doubles players - Siniakova & Patten have to go through qualifying!!! They 100% deserve a direct acceptance/wild card into the main draw!
@jon_wertheim So the reigning Wimbledon MXD champions have to go through qualifying. That’s a joke. If a true MXD tournament they should be a direct acceptance!!!
@BenRothenberg So the reigning Wimbledon MXD champions have to go through qualifying. That’s a joke. If a true MXD tournament they should be a direct acceptance!!!
@geoffschwartz Good move by the Colts. No one is going to offer Jones a long term contract. They save millions on a player that was a bust for the Giants and will be trying to make a comeback off a torn Achilles. Yes, he had a great beginning to last season but he stills has much to prove.
@MeganFernandez7@Tennis Correct - they both, along with Zverev, play the the exact same game as Sinner and Alcaraz. Only Sinner and Alcaraz play much better. IMO both need to improve their volley game if they consistently want to have chances to bet them at their best.
@MeganFernandez7@CkingsonK@usopen Yes glorified exo and IMO they shouldn’t be award a Grand Slam title by winning this exo. They can keep this mixed doubles exo, same format, however have the prize money be for the teams charity of their choice. Then host the true mixed doubles major as usual.
@OptaAce@WTA@WTA_insider@SabalenkaA This needs context. She’s played this many hours because she’s constantly getting to finals. She reached 7 finals, has played 56 matches and has won 40 in straight sets.
