It has come to our attention a number of games have gone to a draw and been restarted. We wanted to add a quick clarification based on section 2.1 that a Match only consists of 1 game of magic. This applies in both Swiss and Top cut.

@LeBronee_ Both of these examples should fall on the side of acceptable for a decision reversal. Tbh, many times a judge doesn't even become summoned for things of this nature in CEDH, but this gives clarity for when they are.

@copilot_user @BorosBaldy @IBlameMax @SethArar @TheBG_D There is a delicate balance in play here, where the opinions of players who play, the TO who organizes, and the Judges who facilitate have to be taken into consideration when rules have to be adjusted.
Not an easy process, which is why there are multiple people who work on this.

After feedback from the players, TOs, and judges, we have made a slight adjustment to the Match Points section of the Competitive MTR/IPG Addendum for Commander Events.
We want this document to be acceptable to as many as possible, to help facilitate Competitive Multiplayer.

@mindfreak314 @CptMoralSupport A concern that came up with this suggested direction is that a player who is paired up can be targeted by everyone, then the remaining players Intentionally Draw.
Said player has to play due to points, other 3 don't.
As stated before, we are watching and listening to feedback.

@ring1303 If the match does not come to a natural conclusion with a sole winner at the end of regulation, that match will be a draw, and players listed in the pod will receive 1 point

@GildedAdonis The number of points has been 5-1-0 for a good while, the adjustment was requiring all players originally in a pod to agree to an Intentional Draw (no drawing after someone has been eliminated without their consent)

@ggbritt @CptMoralSupport The situation in this discussion is one thing that we are looking at again, using feedback from the player base, TOs, and judges, to try to find a overall acceptable solution.
As stated before, the transition of rules/policy from 1v1 to multi is not an easy task. Workin' on it.
