What happened to Notre Dame was the culmination of corruption that has been going on for years, including with what happened to Florida State in 2023. It's time for the playoff committee to come to an end #GoIrish

The Lord is preparing His Church and His people, those who bear His name, to receive Him. As part of our preparation for His coming, He will lift each of us so we may rise to spiritual challenges and opportunities unlike any seen in the history of this world.
How, then, can each of us participate in this work of such magnitude and grandeur?
When we take repentance as a joyful opportunity because of our growing faith that Jesus is the Christ, when we understand and believe that Heavenly Father hears our every prayer, when we strive to obey and live the commandments, we grow in our power to receive continuing revelation.
The Holy Ghost can be our constant companion. A feeling of light will stay with us even as the world around us becomes darker.
As we pray and grow our faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior and our Heavenly Father as our loving Father, we become a vital part in the Lord’s work as He prepares the world for His Second Coming.
I am going to keep screaming this until someone hears:
A CHILD DIED IN MODERNA'S OWN CLINICAL TRIAL OF ITS MRNA COVID JAB, AND THE COMPANY HID THE DEATH FROM THE PUBLIC
I must say Brendon didn’t misquote me in any way, and I frankly don’t care what many may assert, “oh he’s a FOX guy …” I’m speaking for myself and am never squeezed into group think! I’ve done this long enough to feel confident that my opinions have merit. I’ll offer this caveat, had @TexasFootball not beaten @TexAgs ya think the mission to get @VandyFootball in the 12 team field with a 10-2 record in would be as obvious as it is for the Horns at 9-3? Perhaps I should have said “BRAND BIAS” first, and @SEC second. All this, and understand @BYUfootball must beat @TexasTechFB to get in. Being competitive won’t be enough! Tonight’s Tuesday Night Show is the “setup” to another Sunday Blunder from the @CFBPlayoff next week.
@SeminoleAlford I’m not going to swear at you or drag your family into this. That’s what the classless bullies on here do when they run out of arguments. I’m speaking to you directly, respectfully, and as someone who cares deeply about this program.
But this decision? It’s disgraceful. The choice by the administration — and by you specifically — to keep Mike Norvell purely because you don’t want to cut a check says everything about where we are as a program right now. We are no longer operating like a serious football power. We’re acting like a school hoping no one notices we’ve fallen behind.
Any legitimate top-10 or top-15 program in the country would have made a change after the Stanford game. Not debated it. Not spun it. Fired him. Immediately. Look around at how LSU, Florida, Penn State, and others handle mediocrity: they don’t tolerate it, and they certainly don’t reward it with another year. We’re the only ones pretending this is acceptable.
Let’s call this what it is — a financial decision. Nothing more. There’s no on-field justification for bringing him back. None. He’s 7–17 over the last two seasons. That alone disqualifies him from leading any major program. He hasn’t earned another chance. He hasn’t shown progress. He hasn’t inspired confidence. The only reason he’s still here is because the buyout stings and you don’t want to absorb it.
And let’s not rewrite history: you handcuffed this program when you panicked and handed him that absurd extension because Alabama flashed interest. That was the moment the leverage swung, and we’ve been paying for it ever since.
He hasn’t shown he can recruit at a championship level. He hasn’t demonstrated he can build a sustainable program. He hasn’t proven he can motivate or elevate the players in the locker room. We look lost, soft, and directionless. That’s on him — and now it’s on you for refusing to make the change everyone sees is necessary.
He deserves to be fired. Point blank. And when you choose not to reverse course — when you stick by this decision — you owe the alumni, the board of trustees, and the entire fan base a full, transparent explanation. Stand in front of them and justify this move as anything other than a cost-cutting choice. Explain why wins and losses suddenly don’t matter. Explain why lowering the standard has become acceptable.
Because until you do, the message is loud and clear: this administration is more interested in balancing a budget than building a winning program. And that should terrify anyone who cares about the future of Florida State football.
Getting blown out by a 3 win team with an interim coach is the epitome of the Norvell experience at FSU. This is just so old, but thankfully, we get to run it back for 2026...🫠
I’m very sad for our country but so happy for my friend Marjorie. I’ll miss her tremendously. She embodies what a true Representative should be. Everyone should read her statement; there’s more honesty expressed in these four pages than most politicians will speak in a lifetime.
🔥 Elon Musk just summed up modern slavery in one sentence:
“You work. You get taxed. You buy something. You get taxed. You own something. You get taxed again.”
It’s the loop of quiet control — a system designed to keep you compliant while the government spends your money on causes you never consented to.
Every paycheck, every purchase, every property — siphoned through layers of bureaucracy.
And what’s left? A fraction of what you earned, traded for a false sense of freedom.
Musk’s point cuts deep:
The problem isn’t just taxation — it’s how it’s weaponized.
To fund endless wars.
To bankroll wasteful projects.
To grow a government that lives off your labor while pretending to “serve” you.
It’s not public service anymore.
It’s public extraction.
Time to break the loop.
The funeral of Russell M. Nelson, President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was held today, Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City. President Dallin H. Oaks and Elder Henry B. Eyring, who served as President Nelson’s counselors, joined two of the prophet’s 10 children — daughter Laurie N. Marsh and son Russell M. Nelson Jr. — and Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and Relief Society General President Camille N. Johnson to pay tribute to the prophet’s life and teachings.
Come unto our Heavenly Father. Take upon yourself the name of Jesus Christ. Identify with Him. Always remember Him. Strive to be like Him. Join Him in His work. Receive His power and blessings in your life. #GeneralConference
Great blessings come to families if they pray together, kneeling night and morning to offer thanks for blessings and to pray over common concerns. #GeneralConference
