We make your gas cheaper by taxing oil companies who are making billions off raising prices during this war, then giving that money back to Americans.
That's a bill from @RoKhanna.
We make your monthly utility bill cheaper by cracking down on for-profit utilities’ endless price increases.
The average family saves $500 a year.
That’s a new bill from me and @RepRileyNY.
One of the largest pesticide manufacturers in the WORLD has spent millions lobbying for passage of a pesticide liability shield & legal immunity from the impacts of glyphosate.
It must be defeated.
This Earth Day, clean energy and climate are under attack. The Trump administration has been rolling back climate progress, treating us as expendable and driving up costs for American families. That's why we're fighting for a clean energy future and a healthy climate.
Your electricity bills are way too high, and Donald Trump is paying nearly a BILLION dollars of YOUR money to a foreign company to keep them that way.
Yes, you heard that right. The President of the United States is literally spending your tax dollars to make your energy bills more expensive.
He lost in court FIVE times trying to kill two wind projects that would have powered over a million homes.
Wind and solar are now the cheapest forms of energy on the planet. It is pure math. If you want lower electric bills, clean energy is how you do it.
Americans need affordable, homegrown energy that isn’t subject to the volatility of global oil markets. Trump is doing everything in his power, and spending nearly a billion of your dollars, to make sure you don’t get it.
Once again, consumers get screwed. You shouldn't be footing the bill for utilities' lobbying.
Congress should pass my Ethics in Energy Act, which would address this exact problem and prevent utilities from using your hard earned payments to fund their political activity.
We need to stop the Trump administration from turning every day into Scorched Earth Day. While they treat our lives as expendable, polluters are given a free pass to poison our air and water. Enough is enough.
Sen. Heinrich: Satisfying a president's desire for political revenge or intimidation is not a lawful basis for terminating projects that were on track to help reduce soaring electricity prices.
Appreciate the @ABC@GMA coverage on Trump’s anti-science rollback of climate pollution limits that will sicken us all and drive up costs, only to benefit the fossil fuel industry - honored to be interviewed: https://t.co/wj0p6SCjK5
Totally- solar and with batteries helping extend it- is shaving the summer daily peak, driving down costs for everyone in ERCOT. Thank you “connect and manage” policies for interconnection that get projects delivering power to consumers way faster- permitting reform worth doing!
Cheaper Cleaner Faster is coming for their fossil fuel cronies so they will do anything in their power (and even illegal things outside their power) to try and blockade the new clean energy projects.
Because they let new clean energy and batteries connect to their grid MUCH faster than any other grid. “Connect and manage” type policies or the improved version SPP is putting in place everywhere could really bring down energy costs and pollution.
Texas is adding solar power faster than any other state.
In one quarter alone, more than 3 gigawatts were installed, enough to serve a city the size of El Paso. That growth means more dependable electricity and lower-cost power built on Texas land.
DHS and ICE are a threat to our communities.
More innocent people – including citizens, immigrants, and children – will be harmed if DHS is allowed to continue operating as-is.
To protect our communities:
❌Stop DHS terror
❌Impeach Noem
❌Dismantle ICE
In an electorate focused on costs, 65% say climate change is raising their costs. Climate-driven hikes in home insurance are the top economic issue in many places. By 74-10, voters want companies to pay for the harm their pollution causes.
