We had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Barbara Dutrow, Professor of Geology at Louisiana State University. She presented two talks on "The Many Faces of Tourmaline: From Gemstone to Geologic DVD" and “Minerals as Solutions to Scientific, Technological, and Societal Issues".
And💥goes the trash can. Just an ordinary day for our Geohazards SYP students as they learn about volcanoes with water and nitrogen (don't try this at home!) and in a quieter moment, look at rock specimens under microscopes. Wish you were here? So do we. #mtusyp#michigantech
