@o_reachtaire Each to their own. I find it gaudy and dated.
Never understood adults wearing football tops anyway (unless they're at a game).
Even worse when they have the names of players on them.
It's a bit like grown women wearing bunny ears.
@j0rdanmcr@goodbadftblpod He may be. However, not enjoying music is not the reason.
I listen to, and enjoy, music on occasion.
However, I don't see it as an essential part of my humanity or my identity - like so many seem to.
You dare to not enjoy a band they like and they take it personally.
@ashawolves@Cesa58147121@LisaRacheal It's not a matter of rights, it's a matter of consideration.
Like the people who come in with 20 scratch cards to be checked just when half 7 is approaching and there's a big queue.
They also have the right to be inconsiderate bawbags.
@Dungarbhan@CrazyCraven01 Fortunately, I wasn't even 2 years old when that disaster happened. I do, however, have a memory of a feeling of desolation hanging around the house for a few years.
@old_trafford_11@goodbadftblpod Yeah, it astonished me how angry some people get about that. They have spent their entire adult lives curating specific tastes in music to tell people who they are - and feel their whole being is trashed if someone says they don't like music.
@AngstromHoot We all have different ways of appreciating beauty. I am able to enjoy the occasional movie or piece of music, but 99.99% is unwatchable/ unlistenable crap. However, I can be moved by the paintings of Vermeer, or the prose of Nabokov.
I'm sure Scholes has beauty in his life.
