@TheSincereDude No good deed in the country goes unpunished
Public has appetite for reforms only when the country is on the brink of collapse
Otherwise public rewards good policy with annihlation in elections
@x_rahulraj Partially true
The amount of money which is made by even low level Babus will make even the brightest engineers reconsider their career choices
They are unaccountable and are never held responsible
@Roflindian That's not how gold loans work
Gold ornaments are almost always redeemed by public after some time
Gold pledged to banks doesn't shift to RBI after some time
Unlike idle deposit which shifts to RBI after 10 years, gold pledged is auctioned to clear the loan dues
@sbalaji1 Kyc of beneficiary owners of trust is required and not the beneficiaries of the trust
If the bank asked you to provide details of beneficiaries then they are at fault
@protosphinx@sabhlok is a former IAS who quit after 19 years. He has more clarity of thoughts on public policy issues than most of our leaders. His view on Lee Kuan Yew and governance

@mainbhiengineer Ask the employer to pay the allowance to you as reimbursement of expenses that were incurred on account of transfer/change in residence
Expenses incurred by employees on behalf of the employer are non taxable
@Asandeep1999@mainbhiengineer It is another masterstroke
We just need to wait for results to materialise
Just don't ask how successful previous schemes have been
Modi can't undo 70 years damage in 10 years
True
He can start by making babus accountable - easily done in 10 years
Babus remain corrupt as ever
@Retributions Mark my words - not one govt official will loose his job. They may face suspensions or get transferred - but none will be terminated from service. That's the reason why such atrocities will continue unchecked and with a silent nod from govt bodies.
@Vivo_India I bought a Vivo V9 which has a crappy rear camera and it's finger sensor takes forever to response.
Plus, ur service centre smells likes it was built on open sewage.
I guess that's the company ethos: screw over the customer and treat them like shit.
