And those who live under the umbrella of others greet deeds will never have the sun shine on their destiny… never knowing what they could have been as THEMSELVES… African we have a problem living in shadows of our forefathers
@KagutaMuseveni Your excellency imagine us who have been building communities since 1970’s.. us who kept your parents and other nrm families safe during the war.. To this day we are doing great work, shall we we also beg to meet you? Hopefully you will look around
In Uganda the solution to terrible service delivery is not just calling out the bad actors… but identifying the corrective action and implementing the best solutions. Yes we all know corruption is wrong and stealing is bad. But how do we implement better solutions? who knows?
@CanaryMugume@USForeignAssist And most of these deals are made without the knowledge of the president…you know how big m7 is on sovereignty, especially in epidemic/dna/healthcare/agriculture data…
A better story to report is the success of Uganda epidemic response team…one of best in world by the way…🫡
@CanaryMugume@CanaryMugume stop it… you know better! Why do you guys pretend like the @USForeignAssist is not a top Uganda partner… you know why they are going this route… money gets misused.
And no it’s not about sovereignty becuz at ministerial level ppl signed away data rights already!
You might not like @mkainerugaba because of his parentage or your false sense of western idealism working in African countries… but if you want better govt and less corruption why would you not support him?! All good change must start from somewhere…so let’s support and see
Uganda can transform in 5 years by focusing on what matters most: better roads, power & water; agro-industrialization; youth skills training; digital government to reduce corruption; and investing oil revenues into infrastructure and industry instead of consumption. 🇺🇬…FOCUS!!
@MEMD_Uganda@PNyamutoro@NankabirwaRS@HonOkaasai@irenebateebe 🤦🏿♂️ But do you ppl learn anything in the conferences you over spend money at?
1. There is nothing wrong with congratulating an individual on giving birth.
2. It’s deeply unethical & unserious to use an official govt platform to do so.
This is extreme village excitement 🙄
A fiery speech by South Africa's🇿🇦 EFF leader Julius Malema, over xenophobic attacks targeting foreign nationals.
“You say Zimbabweans take your jobs. Nigerians take your jobs.
You march, close shops and beat up people. Tell us after doing that how many jobs have you created, by beating up these Nigerians, Zimbabweans and Ghanaians?
You beat people because they took your jobs.
You close a shop that hires people. How many have you created after beating and chasing them?
Unskilled men, with no skills, none whatsoever, say somebody took away their jobs. I don't want your votes if you behave like that. Take them away.
Pushing out of school an African child that looks like you, I will never do that. You can take your votes. Make me die with my conscience very clearly.
I will never refuse a pregnant woman of African descent to give birth in the clinics of South Africa. Never!”
@nyaika256 Vet and put young talented people in those positions.
The problem is our leaders have myopic ego-centric approach to these things. They don’t know what to do and rather than being advised they make up dumb excuses for incompetence and lack of exposure… but we will get there
@ZenjiSimon We have the wrong ppl in the offices!
@djspinnyug and team were able to capitalize on the moment and opportunity. Young ppl understand the market and have more exposure than the old geezers we have running tourism and other offices. Put them in those positions and see magic!!
@konyineboy@TimKalyegira By definition the very nature of state intelligence is driven by deception, intrigue and many educated guesses of future outcomes 🙄
@TimKalyegira This guy swears he is the African A16, the African intelligence czar, the know all about all, but constantly comes up wanting when faced with real experts on subject matters. How can a whole state situated in one of the most volatile regions, with multi. advisories have no intel
@kasujja@TimKalyegira For the love of God, please put belt to bum on this fake intelligence hack 😫. 3/4 things he posts on state-craft and tradecraft are just falsehoods and click bait.
@DMavine@TweetsbyHenry 1. Telehealth does really well with culture of predictive or preventative medicine, regular scheduled appointments instead of emergency med… Uganda
2. Hard to compete against trusted boda boda guy to pick up from unregulated pharms
Loved rocket health hope future is better
