Deeply devastated by the tragic news from the Gulf of Oman. Three innocent Indian civilian seafarers — Patnala Suresh, Shivanand Chaurasiya, and Aditya Sharma — have lost their lives following a targeted US precision military strike on the commercial oil tanker, M/T Settebello.
These men were not combatants. They were civilian mariners doing their jobs, caught in the crossfire of a geopolitical standoff.
I strongly support the Government of India's swift and firm response in calling out this unacceptable overreach. By summoning the US Chargé d'Affaires to lodge a strong protest and forcefully raising the matter at the United Nations, New Delhi has made it clear that Indian lives are not acceptable “collateral damage”.
While the US enforces its maritime blockade, it must cease and desist from targeting commercial civilian infrastructure and crews. A military strike on an engine room, knowing civilians are on board, is unjustifiable.
Global maritime forces have plenty of non-lethal methods to intercept, redirect, or board non-compliant vessels. Resorting to missile strikes that kill civilian crews must stop immediately. Freedom of navigation must apply to the safety of the sailors who power global trade. I hope india firmly demands this of its US interlocutors since practically every ship in those waters carries Indian crew.
Our deepest prayers are with the bereaved families. We stand with you. 🕉️ शांति!
After Vote Chori and Sarkar Chori - the BJP-EC jugalbandi has finished the contest before it has even begun with Seat Chori.
Look at what happened in the recent Rajya Sabha elections.
Congress candidate Meenakshi Natarajan ji submitted every document. No pending cases. The EC cancelled her nomination on a frivolous BJP objection.
Parimal Nathwani ji, the BJP-backed independent, got his own name wrong on the form and skipped multiple mandatory disclosures. The EC gave him an extension to fix everything.
Same Election Commission. Two candidates. One was disqualified without even a hearing. The other was rewarded despite not following the rules.
When the Congress sought a meeting, the EC first tried to evade us. When we finally met, they did not say one word.
Expect to see much more of this - because for the BJP, it is far easier to fix the election than to win it.
What happened in Madhya Pradesh is not an isolated incident. It is part of the larger design of the BJP under PM Narendra Modi.
Through SIR and other methods, the BJP has been carrying out vote theft. Now, seat theft has been added to the same project. When the BJP cannot win through voters, it attacks the voter list. When it cannot win through numbers, it attacks the election process itself.
The BJP is breaking parties, buying loyalty, misusing institutions and stealing seats because it wants artificial numbers in Parliament. These artificial numbers are needed to pass anti-democratic and anti-constitutional laws without resistance.
The Congress will strongly oppose this assault on democracy and the Constitution.

Congress leaders KC Venugopal ji, Jairam Ramesh ji, Bhupesh Baghel ji, Sachin Pilot ji, Deepa Dasmunshi ji sat on protest outside ECI office in Delhi.
How can they be prevented from submitting the memorandum over rejection of nomination of Madhya Pradesh’s Congress Rajya Sabha candidate Meenakshi Natrajan ji?
Shameless murder of democracy in broad daylight.
The exam leaks destroy the hopes and futures of millions of students.
The Congress always protected our institutions. This is what happens when institutions are destroyed by the RSS/BJP.
Believe me when I say, this is only the beginning.
Dharmendra Pradhan ji, you can attack me all you want but it won’t absolve you of your crimes. Nor will it stop me from demanding answers for 18.5 lakh children.
Why was the CBSE OSM contract handed to COEMPT - a company already mired in controversy under its old name, Globarena? On whose orders was it done? Why were no background checks done? What is the connection between COEMPT’s management and the Modi government?
Either you ran a background check and went ahead anyway - or you didn’t run one at all. Either way, you are complicit.
As for responsibility - if the PM cared, he should have sacked you long ago for ruining the futures of lakhs of students.
Dear Prime Minister,
I am writing to request for a debate in Parliament on NEET tomorrow.
Our aim is to engage constructively in the interest of 24 lakh NEET aspirants who deserve answers.
I believe that it would be fitting if you were to lead this debate.
Opposition parties like the Congress have been vociferously protesting for the last several days but get no coverage from Noida channels and even independent journalists on YouTube. And then ‘neutrals’ give gyaan on why the opposition isn’t on the streets!
Must Watch - 🚨
An 18 year old GenZ student is ripping off Indian journalists and media. 🔥
I frankly do not trust the media anymore. I don’t trust the journalists to delve deeper into this. The press freedom index of India is very low.- Sarthak
This is a slap on the face of Indian media and paid journalists. News channels should be ashamed of themselves.
@SupriyaShrinate Why congress leaders already running behind?
