30 years ago today, Veronica Guerin was murdered because she refused to be intimidated by Ireland's criminal underworld.
A fearless journalist and lifelong Manchester United fan, this photo with Eric Cantona was placed on her coffin at her funeral.
Rest in peace, Veronica. ❤️
Good morning! This week's theme is Pubs and Bars 🍺🍷

In Goodfellas (1990), Robert De Niro didn’t like how fake money felt in his hand and insisted on using real money. So the prop master withdrew several thousand dollars of his own money to use. At the end of each take, no one was allowed to leave the set until all the money was returned and counted.

Through the kitchen, past the chefs, into the club, table appears at the front. Henry Hill showing Karen his world. Scorsese showing us his.

Definitely one on the Christmas list back in the day
Needed a pair of ear defenders to play it, but what a game 🔥🔥🔥
In a pub (strange but true) and I sat here looking at the scene in front of me and thought, I need to take a photo of that. Luckily, I had a camera with me and took the shot. The woman on the right in the window with the light on her drink and as I pressed the shutter, a bloke appeared bang in the centre of the square window to the left of her. Sometimes, things go exactly right. The pub is The Dublin Castle in Camden, London. The camera is a Fujifilm xpro3. In case you wondered.
Golden hour vibes on Ireland’s wild edge. Beara never disappoints 💚

Been in this Farringdon pub before, but this time, bought a pint today and it was £7. The pub is empty. I had an idiotic landlord of a pub who told me on here that price is irrelevant to punters. What a total moron who probably has had his pub closed down by now. Price is extremely important. I will never go twice to a pub that charges me £7 for a pint. And the deserted interior of this pub should show you that neither will most other people.
