I looked at the 25 most right-wing counties based on presidential election results from 2016-2024.

Crowley won EVERY SINGLE one of those counties and netted over 6,800 net votes compared to Hong (he only won the state by 3,200).

This seems to support the theory that Republicans crossed over to vote for Crowley, although I'm sure we'll get more data on that in the future too.

Fran is a self proclaimed socialist who called out state sanctioned violence with a bullhorn, said Thanksgiving sucks, and proposed taxing the richest people in Wisconsin to pay for our schools.

Over 311 thousand Wisconsinites voted for that enthusiastically.
