When is it going to get better? A 🧵
After over a decade of cuts to school funding I was so hopeful that a change of govt would mean we would have money to invest in improving children’s lives. I understand the need for growth in order to close the holes in public finances. 1/5
@stoneman_claire I’m both everyday. By which I mean my clothes were once smart but are so worn out and so few now that they’ve all morphed into scruffy and don’t really fit. So I guess casual?
@UnofficialOA When I started a job at the age of 32 a couple of people were shocked I had 2 children as they thought I was a new teacher fresh out of uni. That was in the olden days before the teachers wrinkles got me good! Hope you had a good first day.
