A glorious day! A wonderful morning exploring the north side of #Liathach. This must be Scotland’s most underrated coire - very dramatic. There were many signs of deer high up near the ridge of Meall Dearg.

I felt god awful during this hike but pushed on and was rewarded with a cloud inversion 👌🏼
#mwis report this morning...
"Chilly but dry for much of Scotland, local patchy rain or showers toward the north, hills clearer toward the south and west Highlands."

First hike since June & couldn’t have ordered up better weather! Big day but a great day - tired but happy to have added another 2 to my tally in a year that’s been mountain light! Ben Avon & Beinn a’Bhuird

Mullach Clach a Bhlair won't win any Munro prizes but a sizzling solo trudge up this solitary summit. Feet, knees & legs wrecked from that never ending relentless track. Glen Feshie beautiful mind you.
