ఇటీవల జరిగిన ఘోర రోడ్డు ప్రమాదంలో కృష్ణా జిల్లా, కృత్తివెన్ను మండలం, చందాల గ్రామానికి చెందిన జనసైనికుడు శ్రీ చందూ వీర వెంకట వసంతరాయలు గారు గాయపడి బ్రెయిన్ డెడ్ కు గురయ్యారన్న వార్త తీవ్ర బాధాకరం. వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు, ఆత్మీయులకు ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతి తెలియజేస్తున్నాను.

యాక్సిడెంట్ అనంతరం గుంటూరు లోని రమేష్ హాస్పిటల్ లో చికిత్స పొందుతూ బ్రెయిన్ డెడ్ కు గురై వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు తీరని శోకాన్ని మిగిల్చారు. అయినప్పటికీ వారి బాధను దిగమింగుకుని, మానవత్వాన్ని చాటుతూ ఆయన అవయవాలను ఇతరుల ప్రాణాలు కాపాడేందుకు దానం చేసేందుకు ముందుకు రావడం ఎంతో గొప్ప విషయం. వారు తీసుకున్న ఈ నిర్ణయంతో జీవితం మీద ఆశతో ఎదురు చూస్తున్న 7 మందికి జీవితాలకు భరోసా కల్పించారు.

ఈ అవయవ దానం కార్యక్రమం రమేష్ హాస్పిటల్ లో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర ఆరోగ్య శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలోని జీవన్ దాన్ విభాగం నేతృత్వంలో కొనసాగుతున్న విషయం తెలిసింది.

ఎంతో బాధలో ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఇతరుల ప్రాణాలు నిలబెట్టి, వారి జీవితాల్లో వెలుగు నింపాలని నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్న వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులను మనస్పూర్తిగా అభినందిస్తూ, సెల్యూట్ చేస్తున్నాను.
