After a thorough investigation led by the Chieftaincy of Defense Intelligence and Security, President Yoweri Museveni has decided to remove the notorious liar and fraudster, Stephen Nuwagaba, from state house Nakasero. He has also stripped him of the security detail he had been given by former commander of SFC, David Mugisha (Biddie): two presidential jeeps, a section of SFC guards plus a pistol and rifle.
The CDIS investigation confirmed all the details The Independent newspaper had written about Nuwagaba. The president was shocked to discover that Nuwagaba was neither a cyber security expert nor a victim of torture as he had claimed. Instead, the president found out, the guy is an extortionist using lies and fabrications to spread confusion and mayhem.
Nuwagaba, through his lies, distortions and misinformation caused the sacking of many loyal and diligent officers from state house and the SFC. I appeal to the president to reassess these staff and reinstate them to their jobs. I also appeal to the president to cause the release of Capt Amis Ainebyona who has been in jail for more than two years on false allegations of torturing Nuwagaba.
As a senior citizen of this country, I want to thank the president unreservedly for this bold and decisive step. I also want to thank him for calling me to explain to him the background of Nuwagaba and his lies and distortions.
The struggle continues!
HAPPY KABALEGA DAY(Independence day)- 9 OCTOBER:
KABALEGA defeated Sir Samuel Baker, a British(who had invaded through NORTH)at Masindi and burned🔥the Egyptian flag. Then FOUGHT the British(who invaded through EAST)and their local collaborators for years....Even in SEYCHELLES, far away from his People, KABALEGA remained defiant.
Captured, tortured, amputated and Exiled, HIS SPIRIT REMAINED UNBROKEN. AND TODAY, HIS BLOOD RUNS DEEP WITHIN THE ENDURING AFRICAN SOUL OF RESISTANCE AND FREEDOM....
TODAY ON 9 OCTOBER, WE HONOUR AFRICAN RESISTANCE AND THOSE WHO DARED...NOT INDEPENDENCE- BECAUSE WE ARE NOT YET FREE.
During a two-day visit to the Agence Française de Développement (@AFD_France) headquarters in Paris, France, I met with Ms. Sandra Kassab, the bank’s Director for Africa.
We discussed their work in Uganda, specifically in the sectors of water and sanitation, energy, and expanding access to finance for SMEs, youth, and women. I'm encouraged by the partnership, which remains aligned with our national priorities.
In the afternoon, I spoke at the AFD conference about how emerging climate adaptation frameworks affect macroeconomic and public finance management, and the tools used and measures taken by @mofpedU. Currently, Uganda remains a co-chair of the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action, thereby supporting our positions in global climate governance conversations.
Adaptation must be built into budgeting, macro-fiscal and investment planning, and it needs predictable, concessional finance behind it. @henrymusasizi1@FrenchEmbassyUg
Got into an Uber with a fine lad behind the wheel. The radio was on, and the presenters were discussing marriage and relationships. He volunteered his experience as a married man:
"My wife keeps asking me why I am not as chatty and take her out as often I used to during courtship", he says.
"And what is your answer", I ask.
"Well, I don't exactly tell her, but I think to myself, 'election campaigns are over, marriage is time to deliver on the manifesto'", he said.
He is wise not to have told her that directly. At a minimum, he would be in the dog house for a long spell.
As Kenyan a bloke as you can get.
BREAKING NEWS!
PM of Israel 🇮🇱 Benjamin Netanyahu thanked @mkainerugaba,@KagutaMuseveni & Uganda 🇺🇬 for raising a statue at entebbe Airport in honor of Yohan Netanyahu, the only Israel soldier who die during the operation to rescue Israel passengers whose plane was hijacked .
I want to thank all security forces, working under the inter-agency security architecture, for quickly apprehending the prime suspect in the murder of legendary musician Moses Matovu. The suspect, Nsamba Arnold aka Sitenda is in our custody. He will face the law and justice will be served.
I'm not advocating for impunity and outlaw behaviour; Absolutely not! I'm advocating for SOVEREIGN AUTONOMY. For UGANDA Court Systems to try Ugandans for crimes committed here or abroad. Like happens in those Western countries. If Katungi committed those crimes, U.S should send the case here and he be tried and imprisoned here. That's what STATEHOOD MEANS!
Secondly, I'm demanding RECIPROCITY. There are Americans who commit crimes here, more grave than Katungi's. I know two cases(won't say here). If we can't try them here, then, the Americas too, forfeit the right to try our citizens in America.
Those Americans refused trying their soldiers who committed terrible crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan. Forget extraditing them to Iraq...but even to try them for those crimes in American courts; NOTHING! That's what IMPERIAL DOMINATION means!
KATUNGI is an NRA/UPDF VETERAN who served Uganda well, his later conduct not withstanding. UGANDA OWES HIM ONE THING: TRY HIM, and even hang him here. Just do it IN THE COUTRY HE FOUGHT FOR TO BE FREE! Not in VIRGINIA-U.S!
All members of the Central Committee of PLU should take note this. And the chairman of PLU @mkainerugaba has also said all senior members of our organization and even ordinary ones should attend this event. It will launch our road to 2031!! Rukungiri, WE GO!
AFRICAN TRAGEDY!
Btw, not so much even for Katungi, because individuals are expendables, but not STATES and their NATIONAL ETHOS(values, belief systems..). These should never be like market merchandise- sale to HIGHEST BIDDER!
There is no way an American can be extradited to these AFRICAN NEO-COLONIES; none! Because for them, they enjoy LEGAL IMMUNITY against "uncivilised judicial system"!
These unequal EXTRADITION PRACTICES are clear manifestation of COLONIALITY. Where our banana republics work as ENFORCEMENT ZONES FOR FOREIGN LAWS! Just like it was during COLONIALISM when African-kings, chiefs, etc were kidnapped and imprisoned in FAR LANDS-Muteesa, Mwanga, Kabalega, etc, etc, etc. SO IT IS EVEN TODAY!
I'm yet to see any white man extradited to Africa for trial for crimes they commit against us; from committing genocides against our peoples, economic crimes, military treachery like initiating COUPS, etc. JUST ONE!!
So PRINCIPLES LIKE SOVEREIGN EQUALITY provided for under UN Charter(Art 2)...are just WOLOKOSO-rubbish. Sad!
It is amazing that another year has gone by. We give praise and honour to God for His loving kindness, mercy and grace. He has walked with us and we are at the beginning of another year! It is hard to believe that you are 82!
2026 has been a year unlike other years, and therefore we have even more reasons to give thanks to God for the blessing of life. The fact that I am here in person to wish you a happy birthday is a testament to God’s goodness and Faithfulness.
Happy 82nd birthday, Mzee! May God continue to bless and use you mightily.
.Justice and Constitutional Affairs Minister Norbert Mao says the enthronement of a King is not complete until their name is published in the National Gazette. “I have just returned from Fort Portal; we buried King Oyo, but the conflict there is untouchable. Everyone must follow the law. If your name is not in the Gazette as the King of a particular place, it means you have not fulfilled the legal process of enthronement.” - @norbertmao

I have instructed comrade @AndrewMwenda not to speak about the issues of Tooro again. He will stop it immediately. Once again, as PLU we commiserate with the great Batooro people on the tragedy that befell all of us. May the soul of the late King Oyo rest in peace.
.FortPortal: “We have a King!” Omusuuga Prince Charles Kamurasi, Head of the Tooro Royal Clan, has formally announced Prince Edward Rukidi Kijanangoma as the new King of Tooro Kingdom. Kamurasi said the succession process was conducted in accordance with the law and guided by Tooro traditions and norms, urging the kingdom to “keep peace and calm.” #ChimpReportsNews
