This week I came across the obituary of a photographer named David Plowden. I was unfamiliar with his work, but decided to browse his website after reading that he specialized in photos of trains and industry.
Iโm not much of an art guy, but these photos are astonishing. (1/4)
@BTIsaac2@628ogerda@mightydudbolt What I meant was I get annoyed when some detail in a story is crowbarred into a prequel because of some perceived "need" to explain it.
I'm happy to see a British start up doing well and doubly happy to see they plan to open a new factory in the UK, but do their vehicles really have to be so ugly?
For better or for worse, it seems like Elon Musk is also a design trendsetter, as these vehicles look like a blend between the Cybertruck and an old fashioned Jeep or Range Rover. Really quite ugly things.
@628ogerda@mightydudbolt Lots of prequels and sequels do this, and it annoys me greatly. Not everything needs an explanation outside of "they were there"
This is the hardest question many people will ever ask themselves. So, I am proud that you have instead delegated it to me. @achewood You're welcome, sir. I should have done this ages ago. I still have my "a distraction on the road to the grave" print on the wall near (but not in) the toilet
