It’s good to see mainstream media finally catching up…Today, the Daily Nation has highlighted the controversial decision by President Ruto’s government to grant diplomatic-style immunity to the Global Centre on Adaptation (GCA) ,the Dutch-based NGO led by University of Nairobi Chancellor Patrick Verkooijen.

But we must keep asking the hard questions:
Why does a foreign NGO need immunity on Kenyan soil?
Why can’t it be sued, audited, or even prosecuted?
What exactly are they hiding behind that immunity?
