Ruto ameshuka Belgium akastuka kuona Mudavadi aty "Omwami habari ya huku"
Bwana tulikosea nani kweli hii nchi.
Kazi ya Mudavadi ni kutangulia kukaribisha Kasongo.
What a country!!!!
Perhaps the most baffling finding by this Bench is that FAIR HEARING was violated BUT that does not affect the decision to impeach. A very fertile Ground of Appeal.
Having found an Absolute Right Violated, how can An action emanating therefrom be VALID?
We condemn the arrest of peaceful protesters advocating for the protection of #NairobiNationalPark
Nairobi National Park is not for sale. We demand the immediate release of those arrested and respect for the rights to peaceful assembly, expression, and public participation.
Dishonest "experts" like @DavidNdii are more dangerous than outright corruption. Your Harvard degree is starting to look increasingly useless, Ndii.
Safaricom FY2026 total dividend is KES 2 per share. With the government’s 35% stake (equivalent to 14.04 billion shares), GOK stands to receive KES 28.08 billion in dividends from its KES 445.8 billion stake representing a solid 6.3% return.
Over the next four years, the government can expect roughly KES 100 billion in total dividends from Safaricom by FY2030. On top of that, if the share price rises to around KES 51, the government’s stake would be worth approximately KSh 716 billion by the end of FY2030, up +60.6% from KES 445.8 billion valuation in FY2026.
So tell me, @DavidNdii: You want the government to sell its best performing asset generating KES 28 billion a year in dividends while as a Kenya Airways board member you will push the same government to inject a KES 20 billion bailout into its worst-performing asset? What kind of economics is that, bwana David Ndii?
In June 2024, young Kenyans took to the streets. They were teargassed, shot ,abducted and others killed. One of the reasons for the protests was the numerous money -guzzling luxurious trips to foreign lands by this President. He stopped but is back at it again with a vengeance.Italy, Azabaijan, Kazakhstan, Dubai, S Africa, Belgium, Norway, Finland all in quick succession and more in the pipeline. It’s like the spilled blood of our young people meant nothing to this regime.
Sections of Uhuru Park will be hived off to "expand Uhuru Highway".
Parts of Karura Forest will be hived off "to plant tree seedlings and build rangers' accommodation units".
Parts of Nairobi National Park will be hived off "to construct parking yards for the new Bomas International Convention Centre".
Sections of Ngong Forest are being cut down for "the construction of the Ngong-Riruta rail line and an international resort and casino".
Practically every green and gazetted area within the Nairobi Metropolitan area is being targeted.
And this is place where scrutiny is highest.
Can you imagine what is happening in gazetted areas in the Rift Valley.
When pastoralists are in power, every green space is either pasture for "wega ngombe wagule yiote" or merely something to degazette, cut down and build some ugly concrete structure.
Scarcity mentality at birth.
We found evidence of construction going on inside the Nairobi National Park but @KWSKenya just confiscated our drone. Currently protests by lobby groups and environmentalists are going on over the construction.
KWS has confiscated a drone from BBC journalist Ian Wafula and his crew after the journalist reportedly found someone carrying out construction inside Nairobi National Park.
Pushing people from homes into homelessness in the name of "Affordable Housing" is a profound contradiction. Extracting more income from already strained households while living costs continue to rise is not social protection , it is economic cruelty. Policies meant to provide shelter should not be impoverishing the very people they claim to help.
Voyager 1 is 24 billion kilometers from Earth.
It communicates with us using a 23-watt transmitter.
Less than a refrigerator light bulb.
The signal takes 22 hours to reach us, traveling at the speed of light.
By the time it arrives, it's 20 billion times weaker than the power of a digital watch battery.
NASA's Deep Space Network picks it up using 70-meter dish antennas cooled to near absolute zero to reduce electronic noise.
The engineering required to hear a 23-watt signal from 24 billion km away is arguably more impressive than the spacecraft itself.
Launched 1977.
Still transmitting.
Still being heard.
We built something that works perfectly, 47 years later, in conditions no one has ever tested in.
That's what engineering for the long term looks like.
To Kenyan clubs, there’s money in football if you keep nurturing young talents.
Take this example: The transfer is £21.5 million.
FIFA solidarity contribution = 5% of the fee = £1.075 million to be shared among all training clubs.
If a Kenyan club trained the player from ages 12–18:
• Ages 12–15: 4 years × 0.25% = 1.0%
• Ages 16–18: 3 years × 0.50% = 1.5% Total = 2.5%
That’s £537,500 approximately Ksh. 95 million straight to your club’s account!
Invest in grassroots. The bag is there
Good afternoon patriots. The dose of anger makes a return after a hiatus from politics. But this one refused to be ignored.
28 stadiums!!
Not hospitals. Not schools with fire safety equipment. Not agricultural extension centers for farmers. Not innovation hubs for young people who are currently being teargassed in the streets. Not factories to employ graduates whose certificates are gathering dust.
Stadiums!!!
This is a country that uses half its budget to pay debts. A country where a doctor performed surgery using a kitchen sink. Where school dormitories have no fire extinguishers. Where the housing levy is being used to borrow even more money. And the solution this government has found for all of this is 28 new stadiums before an election.
Kenya does not lack places to watch football. It lacks hospitals that have medicine. It lacks cold storage for farmers who grow food that rots before reaching the market. It lacks irrigation for the very communities he was recently shedding tears about.
But a stadium has a ribbon cutting ceremony. A stadium has a crowd. And a crowd one year before an election is a very valuable thing.
28 stadiums in one year. In a country that has never completed a single project on time or within budget.
The hat is nice though. It would look good on him when handing power to the new regime in 2027.
