The literacy crisis isn’t that people can’t read the words. It’s that they can’t understand the context, infer meaning, recognise nuance, identify contradictions, or draw logical conclusions from what they’ve read

Johnathan Newell, one of the Cornell 7 gang rapists is the one that sent the Snapchat message to the “Chi Phi Actives,” where the other 6 learned about the “free p*ssy.”
Never let this story die down and never stop calling it out.
He wants to be a Dr. No med school should accept him
Bryan’s ending was way more tragic than it needed to be because he literally did everything he could to get that cure to the scientists.
He fought through hell, survived being infected, and dragged the cure all the way there, only to end up begging them to use it on him when he was already running out of time.
And the most frustrating part is that they actually had a chance to save him. They could’ve tested the cure on Bryan right there instead of hesitating and arguing over whether it would work. Even if they weren’t sure, Bryan was already dying anyway, that hesitation cost them the one chance they had to find out.
That’s what makes the ending hurt, Bryan didn’t fail to find the cure. He found it, delivered it to the people who could use it, and still died because they all freaked out instead of actually using it on him. 😭
Resident Evil.
Calling a forest “undeveloped land” is such a strange way to describe it.
Nothing is undeveloped about it. It is an ecosystem doing exactly what it is supposed to do.
no one is more whimsical and optimistic than the people who have had to fight and claw their way out of dark places and learn to trust life enough to be silly and joyful.
