@DerpSwan fire doesn't discriminate
between the sinners and the saints
it takes and it takes and it takes
and we keep spraying anyway
we climb and we foam and we take all the wet from the lakes
but if there's a reason
i'm still not dry
when everyone else has fried
i'm willin' to wait forit
@KentSchools415 Does the district use the debunked "balanced literacy" approach to teaching reading? As a trained phonetician, I was absolutely shocked to learn the details of the prevailing approach for the past few decades in public schools. https://t.co/JWIS8NlPHj
We should have just had to celebrate Halloween yesterday. Now we have to make ofrendas because our children and mothers were murdered. We march, not because we want to, but because we have to. We demand justice and change!
COVID-19: Students infect more people than adults and thousands miss class

AI art is theft and fraud on a massive scale. Stop using AI art tools even just for funsies. What they want is to destroy one of the things that makes life worth living and gives meaning to humanity.
Yesterday I was so proud of a new illustration where I felt I really pushed my skills. Today I got an email from somebody asking me if it was okay that they took my art and trained an AI to replicate my style. That just feels so defeating.
if @beatonna was american her book would have been about her two thousand years in the oil sands (student loans paid off in two years!!! what in the canadian fuck i hate the US so much). anyway you should read Ducks, it’s wonderful, I cried a lot, i felt things, mostly rage
Last Friday, CBS cancelled a segment about our clients suing Amazon for selling suicide kits to their now deceased kids. CBS’ cowardice gave me renewed clarity about how urgent this litigation is. 🧵@naomi_leeds 1/
your daily reminder that most of our societal problems could be solved if we collectively pooled resources (taxed billionaires) and allocated that money equitably (just give it to exploited people)
BREAKING: At a White House event, President Biden announces new plans to crack down on junk fees across the economy — including bank overdraft fees, credit card late fees, cell phone termination fees, and airline ticketing fees.
Guess what? The billionaire who "donated" Patagonia to "fight climate change" will:
💰 Get a $700 million tax break
💰 Still control the company
💰 Spend the "donated" $ to influence US politics
Billionaire philanthropy is a scam. Tax the fucking rich.
