@AFC_Chizzy A little tip: all defenders get happy when they stop the attacking team, in any form. But Arteta brought back winning and champion mentality. It’s more about the standard, mentality, and togetherness. Love they celebrate goals as well as good defensive plays

@gunnerblog I fell the exact same way. It’s crazy how much they give the ball away or make dumb decisions. I found myself yelling at the tv to the point my wife is yelling at me to calm down.
I couldn’t do it! Good thing I’m a arsenal fan.
@utdloyal_ Yes….thats the reason you are doing poorly. Not defensive transitions, poor marking, no emphasis on flow with possession, not to mention having players who aren’t compatible non the field, etc…
But yes…that’s the reason
Smh 🤷♂️
@TedHogy @footballconfid1@afcstuff I watch most games during the weekend and there are certain teams and players who are more culpable than others. The other point is…fouls on Saka do not result in yellows, which invites more fouling. Period.
@TedHogy @footballconfid1@afcstuff Not saying a yellow is warranted on all challenges. That’s a crazy statement. I was referring to your statement about Arteta advocating to the PGMOL about his player who is constantly kicked and fouled w/out yellows given. Coaches will defend their players safety…always!
@footballconfid1@afcstuff Obviously, you are not an arsenal fan. If you watch the games, Saka is getting kicked up and down the pitch without impunity. I would do the same to protect my players.
@arseblog@gunnerblog#arsecastextra Happy New Year fellas! Hope all have a prosperous 2024. Now on to a tough convo…we have seen Zinny struggle at LB but we need him on the field to help with ball progression. Am I in the minority who want to see him play the left 8? (need cover at LB in Jan)
@arseblog@gunnerblog I’ve noticed that odegaard is REALLY deep, like a double pivot. He normally is up pressing. He has done this against better teams this year…is it by design or is he playing scared? He isn’t nearly as effective in a deeper role, IMO.
@WhoScored The only other forward is Gabriel Jesus on this list. I would argue that G.Jesus has made more of an impact with goals plus assists (5G and 6A with NO PK goals either). Isak has scored some goals (6G and 0A with 2 goals from pks).
