I'm pretty excited about doing more demos and sharing them here. In this one, I wanted to see if I could build an interactive shader that also functioned as a musical instrument.
To experiment with dynamic game audio, @mwjoffe paired @Antigravity with Lyria RealTime to build a living, interactive 3D meadow that generates its own adaptive soundtrack live in your browser:
Introducing Gemini 4 Argon – our new frontier model.
It’s built for complex workflows across coding, enterprise knowledge work, and cybersecurity defense – rolling out today to a set of trusted testers through our Fairwind Program.
here's the tension - when i told some people "you can use agents to build anything you want now", they literally don't give a damn, because they never wanted to build anything in the first place
but i don't agree we should then look at that and say "people lack imagination"
it's actually the classic question of pain killer vs vitamin. for the most part, AI feels like vitamin right now. people are living their lives just fine without it
when they look at how AI people talk about AI, it's either a tech bro posting screenshot of 10 monitors running 50 terminals shipping absolutely nothing useful, or "look you can book a whole vacation trip with this agent" while many people don't even have the money or time for a vacation
the problem is not people's imagination. i don't think people are responsible for imagining problems they don't have
i think the problem is that people making AI are all silicon valley multi-millionaires who have a very different set of problems from the mainstream consumers
this is not meant as criticism to AI builders (i am one myself) - i just think it's worth pointing out the disconnect and the fact that we still have a long way to go to figure out what real problems AI can actually solve for a lot of people as a pain killer not a vitamin, and nail both the messaging and the actual products to deliver the value
3D models with the blender MCP are the digital/code bonsai tree. You can spend endless amounts of time pruning and adjusting. The result isn't the point.
One of the fundamental truths about cities is that transportation and land-use planning are integral to one another. To that end, here's an exhibition opening next week in Toronto. https://t.co/sIKO7HiBrZ
If you’re anything like me and have spent the entire year building and playing with agents, this is going to be a fun release for you!
Google is rolling out early access to our new @GoogleHome MCP.
Your personal agents (like @antigravity or OpenClaw) can now plug directly into the Google Home ecosystem—interacting with devices and querying your home's event history.
For 20+ years @ShaneLegg and I've discussed AGI’s potential impact on the economy, science & society. With the DeepMind Institute, we're expanding interdisciplinary research on key questions for the AI era. We hope it spurs the discussions needed to get the next steps right: https://t.co/Bqf10G3Xep
