Last August, World Cup winner and my friend Gary Street, suffered a massive stroke. This caused extensive damage affecting speech, breathing, and movement. We want to raise funds to help treat our mate. There are some great auction prizes. https://t.co/gGmnwCyymk

A great turnout for the first in a series of 3 carers courses with Lissy from @DemCarersCount. We have been very lucky in Brent and have collaborated several times with DCC to ensure carers have the skills they need. #brent#dementia@CNWLNHS@BrentCouncil

This time of year often comes with the excitement and expectation to have a great time, but if you’re taking care of a friend or family member with dementia it can feel like additional pressure.
Here are 8 tips to help you cope when you’re not feeling it in the festive season:
We're running a free online session outlining the main types of dementia, how they affect the brain and initial symptoms. This will be an opportunity to connect with others and get your questions answered in a safe, supportive environment.
