Great to see Bugesera and Kicukiro joining the cervical cancer elimination campaign. This is a big step toward a healthier Rwanda by 2027!

#Mission2027 We are delighted to announce that mass screening has now kicked off in two new districts: Bugasera and Kicukiro. These districts are the 6th and 7th to join our campaign, which aims to eliminate cervical cancer in Rwanda by 2027.
“Between 250,000–500,000 women were raped in 100 days during the Genocide against the Tutsi.” A pain beyond words.
On April 7, marked with #WorldHealthDay, remind us that true health means healing bodies, minds, and hearts.

Cervical cancer Presents to be a public health threat, although if there is mass vaccination and awareness to undergo screenings, it is one of the most preventable cancers. screening should be started at age of 25, Remind your friend who is over the age to go for screening.
