There’s an SME in Kireka, yes, just here in Kireka that processes eggs into powder & liquid to extend the lifeline of eggs and to make other egg derived products like mayonnaise.
Another of the projects @euinuganda has helped with financing. Their story blew me away 🙌🏽🙌🏽
The support we received at last Sunday’s Comrades Marathon was humbling. Some moments are better experienced than told.
From Durban to Pietermertzburg, you couldn't pass a kilometre without people shouting Uganda, Kampala, Entebbe, Matooke, etc. The locals were glad that we made the long trip to run this race.
Then came the @RwenzoriMarathn and @UgEmbassySA hydration station; top-level energy.
On arrival in PMB, we were received by Ugandans living in the area who had also spent the day on the streets. A one ‘Ratsa’, as he prefers to be called, captured these moments on the final push.
Then came the entrance into the finishing area. @AnitaKomukama, @AppelezmoiKizza and the King Makers team, we have no words to thank you enough. Many of you lost your voices calling us out, didn't eat all day and ran the race with us until the last person arrived.
Fort Portal showed up in Durban 🇿🇦 🎊
Before the brutal 85.77km @ComradesRace, Team Uganda repped the country in our colors. We're so proud of everyone who took on this huge challenge #TheUltimateHumanRace.
See you back home in Fort Portal, on 18 July for a well-deserved recovery.
