i used to think this was the dream of remote work

laptop on the beach. working by the pool. coding in the sun.

then you actually try it and realize most of it is performative

you can't see your screen. you're uncomfortable. need the bathroom? now you're carrying your entire office with you

you're not free. you just changed the background.

the real unlock is delegation

do the important work in the morning or at night. delegate the rest. manage what you can from your phone.

then close the laptop and actually experience the place you traveled to

otherwise you flew across the world just to stare at the same screen

We're adding support for AGENTS.md to Claude Code.

Starting today in version 2.1.277, if there is no CLAUDE.md in a folder, Claude will check for and use AGENTS.md.

You can toggle this behavior in /config.
