Today, I honour two extraordinary women,Mama Igbo and Madam Joy, the dedicated theatre cleaners of the #65freeadenotonsillectomysurgeries to celebrate Mr Obi,s 65th birthday anniversary

After every surgery, while everyone else was exhausted, they quietly returned to the operating theatre with smiles, cleaning and disinfecting every surface, preparing it for the next child. They did this day after day, never seeking recognition or applause.

A sterile theatre saves lives. It prevents infection. It gives every patient a safer chance to heal. Their hands may not hold a scalpel, but they have protected every child we operated on.

As we carried out our free Adeno tonsillectomies these remarkable women became an indispensable part of our team. Their work reminds us that greatness is not measured by titles but by faithful service.

To Mama Igbo and Madam Joy, thank you for your strength, your humility, your joy, and your unwavering commitment. You are true heroes, and your labour has touched lives in ways words cannot fully express.

May God bless you abundantly and reward you beyond measure. Nigeria needs more people like you.
