The R&D Tax Incentive in Australia has been instrumental in fostering #FinTech innovation, providing financial support for companies to develop secure and efficient financial technologies. Do you believe this incentive is crucial for Australia’s competitiveness globally?
@theallinpod@Jason The reason the Dems don’t understand why they lost is that they don’t feel the same economic pressures that real Americans do.
When you don’t have to worry about where your next meal is coming from, the only thing to worry about is insignificant minority issues
@ycombinator @AdittoCo @willwjack@KellerMaloney This will make a huge difference for time poor entrepreneurs who need to get MVPs out the door yesterday
@JohnLeFevre That’s what entrepreneurs do, they risk everything for a chance to make a meaningful difference.
That’s why no one from the dems could keep up with him, they aren’t willing to risk anything.
Conservative politics has traditionally been for small government and fiscal responsibility, but not in recent years. @elonmusk and @VivekGRamaswamy
running DOGE will be the first step back to fiscal conservatism, removing red tape and allowing entrepreneurs to innovate
@asanwal Too much nuance that isn't captured here.
For founders with small teams, 1-on-1s are vital as they allow for each member of their team to tell them exactly what's happening at a granular level. As the company scales, founders don't need to be in the detail.
🚨 Marc Andreessen breaks down why tech matters:
"Tech is an issue that is as important as any other issue because it goes right to the heart of whether America is strong or not. If you think about what happened in the 20th century, America won for three reasons: because we were the technology leader, we won economically, and we won militarily."
It turns out these are all interconnected because if you're the top tech leader, you're likely to win economically and militarily as well. This is important because the world is a dangerous place. In the battle between the US and the USSR we had two systems globally that wanted to take over: liberal democracy and totalitarian communism. Had the Soviets been superior technologically, we could be living today in a much harsher, darker world.
The Soviets eventually quit because they couldn't keep up technologically. There was no blood shed in major war because we had the best technological might.
This is going on today with the US and China and we're in a new cold war. We want to be the best technologically so the US and our vision of the world wins.
Tech isn't just fun gadgets, it matters to the future of the country, and the future of the world.”
Donald Trump’s election victory has catapulted US stocks to fresh records and pushed the dollar to a two-year high. It’s anything but good news for the rest of the world https://t.co/AxXHNpKcT8
@Jason@VivekGRamaswamy If the election spending from the Harris campaign was anything to go on, inefficiencies are aplenty. Look for layers of bureaucracy that exist only to add red tape and slow down the progress of America.
@business Really hard to find a business model that attracts VC investment given a consumer base who haven't widely adopted crypto into their every day lives. Today VCs look for stable businesses that can scale and have a path to profitability. Hard to achieve in a volatile crypto market.
@jakepaul@MostVpromotions I don't understand what either of them get from this?
If Tyson wins, he is still the GOAT
If JP wins, he beat up an old man
Not a legacy changer for either of them, but wow I am excited to watch it
@elonmusk Great to see government becoming more entrepreneurial. Zero day budgeting, cutting red tape, lean teams with high performing outcomes. This is how to do good government
