The junta regime has arrested today Moe Moe Thu, a former teacher who was actively engaged in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) in Mandalay city, Myanmar. The former teacher's arrest was reportedly prompted by her Facebook post concerning the regime's bombing of Laiza town in Kachin state.
It is believed that her social media activity drew the attention of the authorities, leading to her detention.
Moe Moe Thu finds herself facing serious allegations, including her alleged support for the National Unity Government and her supposed involvement in providing financial assistance to the local People's Defense Force.
The arrest of Moe Moe Thu serves as a stark reminder of the oppressive measures employed by the junta regime to suppress dissent and maintain control.
