After digging back through my notes from the FD bulletin, it looks like we’re not getting the credit for 100%. My buddy’s wife came home about 5 minutes in and totally broke my train of thought, even with headphones on! 😂

Band conditions didn’t seem great this weekend, but we beat last years QSO total by almost 50! Decided at the last minute to do 1D since one of the rigs was acting up. Still managed ~400 contacts with about 20 hours of operating.

Very sad news. I’ve known Brent for many years, and we enjoyed sharing a cold beverage on more than one occasion, both when he visited the US and when I visited him in PEI. He will be sorely missed by all.

A local ham is selling an mcHF setup, and while I know the background of the design, I know little about how it performs. This one is the UHSDR-QRP rig. Does anyone here have experience with them, especially around performance? Thanks.

Woke up super early on day 2 of vacation so we could go watch the launch of the New Glenn rocket at KSC. 45 minutes delayed, but what an awesome sight! Watched it from the beach in Port Canaveral.

I think this might have been my first time operating in the CQ WPX contest, and it was fun! I didn’t put in a huge effort but still managed to work almost 300 stations. Score was 158k.
