https://t.co/eYI53TXWTi Introducing: Social Post Flow.
It's been live since October 2025 (so now's a great time to actually promote it!)
The idea came from over a decade of building other WordPress to social media integrations for services including Buffer, Hootsuite and SocialPilot.
Over the years the same questions kept surfacing in customer conversations:
- Why does scheduling posts cost several hundreds of dollars a year?
- Why does every tool need its own subscription on top of platform fees?
- Why is everything getting more expensive and more complicated?
So I built Social Post Flow around a simpler idea: give people the essentials, properly, at a price that respects them.
$49/year.
That gets you:
- A WordPress plugin that auto-publishes to Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, Google Business Profiles, Pinterest, TikTok, Mastodon, Bluesky and Telegram
- An MCP server, so you can manage your posts directly from Claude or any MCP-compatible AI
- A REST API for anyone building their own integrations
- Zapier integration

14 years ago, I built a small WordPress plugin that auto-posted blog content to social media using @buffer.
It's running on tens of thousands of WordPress sites, and today it became one of the first integrations to launch on Buffer's brand new API.
WordPress to Buffer and WordPress to Buffer Pro v6 is out:
✓ Faster, more reliable publishing
✓ A clearer Status Type dropdown (Text, Link, Image, Story, Pin, Google) replacing the old cryptic image settings
✓ Foundations laid for the next wave of Buffer features
If you publish content on WordPress and use Buffer to schedule it across social networks, this release is for you.

Thanks to the Buffer team for their work on this new API.

@marclou FYI, removed this from the WordPress plugin directory as spotted your official version 🎉 you're loading an unnecessary CSS file and would be good to exclude logged in WordPress users from tracking. Happy to submit PRs if you have a GitHub repo for the Plugin!
Built https://t.co/GXU7uUuVo6 to add DataFast's tracking to WordPress without copying/pasting a script. Native WooCommerce revenue and event tracking up next.
Switched over to Datafast by @marclou this week. Super quick and easy to setup in under 5 minutes. GSC + Stripe integrations are brilliant. Revenue tracking by referrer/channel and keyword means I know where to focus.
Kit is hiring product engineers! We have roles open for the building our publishing experience (React expertise, some full stack exp). More to come soon, including AI focused, ecosystem/app store, and reporting focused roles (Ruby on Rails).

I cancelled Plausible and am moving all my analytics to Datafast!
@marclou did a great job with the app
It kinda pains me to say that because I wanted to make a marketer-first analytics app after I sold Talknotes 🥲
But instead of just *thinking* about making an analytics app like I did, Marc actually shipped it
And I have to admit, Datafast does the job well, and is getting better every day, so, good job!
@thesideblogger@nathanbarry@kit Yes - you can insert WordPress' read more tag within the content to show everything before that tag: https://t.co/INriiy8phe
@RobbyMiles@ConvertKit Definitely makes sense to have an option to import public broadcasts as draft WordPress Posts. Will add this to the next plugin update.
@MatthewSnider_@RobbyMiles@rezzz@ConvertKit There's some logic in the Plugin that removes the unsubscribe link (https://t.co/l9YJX9RtdQ), but perhaps you're referring to something else here re: footer links.
Would be great to see an example so the functionality to remove these links can be included in a future update.
