I loved @SlackHQ when it was 2017 and it still worked with IRC. That broke my heart. I've been asking slack since 2020 to PLEASE add custom notification noises beacuse "HUMMUS" is so 2018. No dice. They won't.

Now they're burning old chat history to the ground.
happy 4 @discord

@MailchimpHelp @shitmail @crapmail @Mailchimp This continues to be an issue @Mailchimp

[N8CN / Amateur Radio @n8cn_radio]

no way to block users from a specific domain from signing up to @MailchimpHelp email lists.

Manually removing hundreds of emails from @shitmail and @crapmail domains is fun AND exciting

Thanks for the easy management @Mailchimp

@MailchimpHelp @shitmail @crapmail @Mailchimp @Mailchimp you're not going to bother to stop it are you

At prices like this, a hearty #RIP to the maker community centric on the RPi products.

As for me and my house, We've moved on to Arduino-based projects now.

[N8CN / Amateur Radio @n8cn_radio]

At least @AliExpress_EN stopped sending me marketing emails with a misleading subject about *any* model Raspberry Pi being under USD$85.

This level of advert I can at least stomach. :D

[N8CN / Amateur Radio @n8cn_radio]

What ends up in your email subject as clickbait is:
"😮 Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W With RP3A0 A Quad-core 64-bit ... selling fast! - $18.99"

Reality:

@glasbrenner @TI3IES @AMSAT What's the criteria for the AO-85 keps being put back into the official AMSAT published formats?

[N8CN / Amateur Radio @n8cn_radio]

@kc9on Well it took 23+ years but Microsoft finally caught up with fvwm lol

[N8CN / Amateur Radio @n8cn_radio]

@kc9on And for the privilege of that delay it'll also cost more now too.

I have opinions on this but I'm trying to be a kind person ... At least on this Twitter account 🤣

[N8CN / Amateur Radio @n8cn_radio]

@kc9on Well I thought that the 4 CBs and the old Eico wave gen and Heathkit SIG gen I had were excessive. Now I feel a little better about my basement's state :)

Still I hate getting rid of stuff like that. Especially when it's functional, serviceable and cool looking.

[N8CN / Amateur Radio @n8cn_radio]

@PRStoetzer Also goes without saying that this is great news :)
